Most of us were caught off guard by the new Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) regulations. While we will have to postpone some activities, there will still be plenty to do in Singapore on the weekends and throughout the June Holidays as we close up the first half of 2021.

Changi Chapel And Museum
Changi is home to more than just the airport and Jewel. Changi Chapel & Museum, which reopened recently after completing renovation, provides a portal to recall our wartime years via realistic reproductions of prison conditions, antiques, and multimedia interactive exhibits. Don’t miss the tranquil Chapel, which holds the Changi Cross, which was created by WWII prisoners of war to provide a ray of hope and faith in difficult times. Before you leave, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase books, mugs, and mementos representing the Japanese Occupation. The proceeds will go towards maintaining this vital historical site. Watch A Movie

You may see famous films like Breakfast at Tiffany’s or Sound of Metal, to mention a few, in either the club-like booth seats or the spacious theatre seats. Everyone will be given a pair of Bluetooth headphones with which they may listen to the movie’s audio track and control the level as desired. A whacky but interesting concept that works!
