The Suicide Squad (Suicide Squad 2) Is Coming To Theatres Soon!

I am pretty sure many are aware or has watched the first Suicide Squad movie released back in August of 2016. The movie was pretty okay in my opinion. We were introduced to several characters in the DC Universe such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, The Joker, Diablo and more.

If you haven’t had enough of the first movie, The Suicide Squad (Suicide Squad 2) movie will be coming to theatres soon on August 5^th, 2021.

Suicide Squad

Released in August 2016, the first movie follows the journey of seven villains to become a new group of superheroes. We also got to see DC’s iconic villain, The Joker on screen as well.

After Superman’s death in Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, intelligence officer, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) convinced the US government to greenlight Task Force X. They are formed to defeat the Enchantress, who is a demonic witch that has possessed Dr Moone.

The new movie is said to be released on August 5^th, 2021. Though I am not a huge fan of the first movie, there isn’t any harm to watch the second one, right?

The trailer for the movie was released and this new movie introduces a new set of cast, some are familiar faces and some are pretty new to the DC Extended Universe. Some familiar faces include Officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Col. Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).
