With the sweltering hot weather and sudden downpours, anytime is always a good time for some fried chicken or ice cream so why not have both? Swensen’s latest creation has intrigued many Singaporeans with its unique take that it is constantly out of stock islandwide and via delivery.

Available since 26 September 2021 for a limited time only, sadly this product is still out of our grasp but if you managed to get your hands on one, do let us know if it has lived up to its hype. Many would think, is the ice cream actually chicken-flavoured? To cut the long story short, it isn’t.

The savoury-looking “chicken drumlets” are made with vanilla ice cream, held together by a chocolate shell that is coated with feuilletine (crushed wafers) and cornflakes to resemble fried chicken skin. To mimic the “chicken bone” Swensen’s has made the dessert entirely edible with a chocolate biscuit stick centre that makes it equally delicious while looking like the real deal.

Available in two options, you can either get the “Fried Chicken” Ice Cream Pint (S$11.80 for two pieces) or a Box of “Fried Chicken” Ice Cream (S$42.80 for eight pieces) that can be purchased from all Swensen’s and Earle Swensen’s outlets if you are lucky that it is not out of stock.

Delivery is also possible across Foodpanda, GrabFood, or Deliveroo and comes packed in a bright red tub that makes the food look that much better as a gift or treat to yourself or your friends.

For an additional $1.07 each, choose from a wide variety of sauces and toppings to go with your Fried Chicken Ice Cream.

Sauces: Butterscotch Sauce | Caramel Sauce | Cold Fudge | Salted Caramel Sauce | Strawberry Sauce | Marshmallow Sauce

Toppings: Chocolate Chips | Chocolate Crunch | Diced Almonds | Chocolate Jimmies | Colourful Jimmies

If you have yet to try this item like us, grab it while stocks last as we promise you wont be disappointed with the visual appeal and taste of this wondrous creation. Visit Swensen’s today to find out more!
