One of the finest ways to unwind after a long day is to relax with friends over a drink. However, picking where to drink might be difficult, especially if you’re new to the pub scene. Here are some suggestions for finding an appropriate drinking establishment for you.
This is by far the most creative in my opinion — at Tippling Club, you can sample your cocktails in the form of a gummy bear. You won’t become tipsy even if you sample the whole drink menu at the bar because the gummy bears don’t contain any alcohol. Nonetheless, they manage to accurately reproduce the flavours of the actual cocktail.
Supercar is their wildest cocktail flavour, with undertones of petrol, leather, smoke, and metal. Don’t worry, it’s completely safe to eat. If you prefer to be on the safe side, we recommend trying one of their traditional cocktails. The one we recommend is their Casino drink ($24) made with gin, dry cherry, citrus, and bitters.

If you want to take your drinking game to the next level, there’s no better place to go than Level Up. There are ten game machines in this one of a kind retro gaming pub, including classics like X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Puzzle Bobble, and Metal Slug.
Check out the basketball machines or play a game of Bishi Bashi if you’re the competitive type. Aside from the games, their drinks are amongst one of the more affordable in the area. Check out their beers (starting at $9) and beverages like the Margaritas ($16).

Opening Hours: Tues to Sun (5pm – 10.30pm) | Closed on Monday
If you like sake, go to Kabuke, a Japanese bar inspired by Japanese Kabuki theaters. The brilliant colours utilized in Japanese plays are reflected in the bar’s bold colours. The two massive hand-painted fans that function as boundaries for separate party groups within the bar are hard to miss.
Aside from the aesthetically pleasing interior, the cuisine and drinks at this establishment are both worth a try in my opinion. When in doubt, go for the Yamakazi 18 years (30ml, $76) which is a single malt with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and blackberries.

Club 5 delivers hand-crafted cocktails inspired by the eclectic heritage of Arab Street, Bugis Street, and Beach Road, which is located in the culturally rich Kampong Glam neighborhood. This chic cocktail bar has an old-world flair and a menu that mixes local flavours for a truly Singaporean experience. Drinks can be paired with bar snacks like chicken kueh pie tee and wagyu satay.

Chupitos Bar, Singapore’s first and only bar dedicated to shots, may provide plenty of practice for anyone wishing to enhance their drinking tolerance. There are over 130 different shot flavours to choose from, but we recommend the Amazing Race ($35), which includes a plate of eight vibrantly coloured shots that will give you and your pals the high you’re looking for.
Between 6 and 9 p.m., the bar provides happy hour prices on select shooters, beers, house pours, and highballs for $6! Furthermore, Chupitos Bar has a drinking challenge that promises winners a place in their Hall of Fame if they can down twelve shots in under 30 minutes. Visit them to find out more!
