In the realm of culinary artistry, Roia introduces a lunch menu curated with modern French flair. Nestled within the luminous ambiance of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, discover the essence of wholesome organic ingredients harmonized with French culinary finesse.
Go on a gastronomic journey with the Roia Set Lunch, available exclusively from Thursday to Sunday that offers a choice of two or three courses, priced at $78 and $98 respectively.
Complete with optional wine pairings starting from $78, the menu promises a comprehensive exploration of taste and texture through their appetizers, mains and desserts.
Commencing the gastronomic voyage, guests are greeted with a vibrant duo of amuse-bouche with the Roia Toast, affectionately known as “My Curry Puff” that is made with kudzu flour and a Pickled Cucumber Tartlet then offers a refreshing interplay of flavours with daikon, cucumber gel, and creme fraiche.
Accompanying the meal, a selection of house-made bread, inspired by Indian and European influences, tantalizes the palate with options ranging from lightly seared brioche to airy sourdough, complemented by olive oil or butter.
Whetting the appetite, the first course unveils the Mille Feuille Scallop, a symphony of creamy Saint Jacques scallops layered between delicate mille feuille pastry.
Enhanced with citron basilic and sour cream crème, and enlivened by a katsu curry sauce infused with Indian vadouvan spice, this masterpiece is crowned with a medley of wild herbs and edible flowers.
For the main course, guests can choose from three tantalizing options.
The Pork presents a succulent Duroc pork steak, paired with foie gras and glazed with a sweet and sour pork jus derived from fresh figs.
The Chicken offers tender breast slices drizzled with sage, tarragon, and cumin jus, accompanied by a fragrant leek tartlet and grilled maitake mushrooms.
Inspired by the works of Salvador Dali, the Fish features a pan-seared fillet atop a pistachio sabayon sauce, evoking the flavours of the South of France.
Concluding the epicurean journey, dessert unfolds as a Pavlova, showcasing a perfect meringue nestled on calamansi honey ice cream. Adorned with passion fruit and lemon thyme ice cream and embellished with petals of edible flowers, this is a visual and gastronomic delight.
Roia’s Lunch Set Menu also caters to vegetarian preferences, offering a delectable array of meatless options for discerning palates to savour and enjoy. For more information, visit www.roia.sg.
