Pi Food has introduced a new menu meticulously crafted by Chef Chen Kai Bin whom previously served as the Head Chef at the prestigious 4-star hotel restaurant, Garden Hotel (汕头花园宾馆) in Guangdong Province, China. Bringing his wealth of culinary experience to Pi Food, look forward to dishes and flavours that are the epitome of Teochew cuisine.

For appetizers, start with the Claypot Braised Pork Belly with Bitter Gourd ($22) for a special pairing, Deep-Fried Prawn Paste Pork Ribs ($22) for tender and flavourful pork ribs or the Teochew Fried Oyster Omelette ($16) that features crispy oysters enveloped in a special starch mixture.

The Steamed Yellow Croaker with Puning Soybean Sauce ($28) showcases the warmth and heart of Teochew cuisine or try the Poached Fish Slices with Tofu Soup ($26.80) that captures the essence of home-cooked Teochew cuisine.

Teochew Seafood Claypot Congee

For seafood enthusiasts, the Teochew Seafood Claypot Congee ($48) combines prawns, crab, and dry scallops with comforting porridge that is served in a large claypot meant for sharing.

For the more adventurous, order the Teochew Raw Marinated Seafood – available in Clams ($16), Prawns ($24) or Crab ($25) for a sublime experience. Marinated for four hours in Chef Chen’s special Teochew fish sauce, the seafood is balanced with zesty lemon, garlic, chili, and the fresh vibrancy of coriander.

Teochew Braised Platter

For something more heartwarming, the Teochew Braised Platter ($32) features succulent duck, tender tofu, and savoury pork belly and intestines expertly infused with over 20 aromatic herbs and spices.

To conclude the Teochew feast, indulge in a special dish of Braised Sweet Potato & Yam ($10) where sweetly coated sweet potatoes and yam are drizzled with a dash of shallot oil.
