OH! Open House is an arts organisation that tells stories about Singapore through the power of art. Since 2009, they have provided more than 20,000 people with unique experiences of appreciating art and heritage outside of museums and galleries. They offer several art projects such as art walks and art experiences.
New World’s End
Organised by OH! Open House, New World’s End seeks to bring Old Singapore back to life and delivery a one-of-a-kind experience that combines stories, history, art and culture. It is thoughtfully made by some of Singapore’s creative minds in music, theatre, film, and visual arts.
In New World’s End, you will get to experience Singapore through the eyes of a loving couple whose lives changed after a series of events.
Immersive Tour
Immerse yourself in a 60-minute audio tour experience. There is always a better way to experience the city. Instead of sitting in for history lessons about Singapore’s landmarks, you get to view and experience Singapore from the couple’s point-of-view.
Follow the story of the loving couple (Kiran and Rosa) as they roam the streets of Jalan Besar after dark and into fantastic theatrical sets.
Why Jalan Besar?
Jalan Besar has always be a messy and diverse place. If you were to roam the streets of Jalan Besar, you will come across migrant communities and sunset industries across its buildings and back alleys.
Unlike other neighbourhoods, Jalan Besar defies the usual clean and modern Singapore. That is the reason why Kiran and Rosa are drawn here. It was in this neighbourhood that they could dream of living a different version of their lives.

Also, do note that you are advised to wear comfortable footwear throughout the tour. Some locations in the route are not wheelchair accessible. Lastly, the audio tour is only narrated in the English language.
