As a student who prefers digital notes, I initially faced difficulties in finding effective note-taking apps that suited my needs. However, my search ended when I discovered Notability, a versatile app that has since become my top choice for organizing and managing my study materials.
Notability is generally free, which is crucial for students on a budget like mine. If you require unlimited note-taking, you can opt for the Notability Plus subscription.
They have an option to categorise your notes into different subjects or add dividers which is invaluable for maintaining organisation and ensuring clarity in your study materials.
The interface is clean and neat, with a minimalist toolbar. This includes pen, pencil, highlighter and customisable colours, as well as an eraser, text, audio recordings, tape and a laser pointer—it’s like having a full pencil case at your fingertips!
My favourite features include the tape tool for covering information to quiz myself later, and the ability to record lectures with the audio recording feature.
You can also personalise your notes by adding photos and stickers.
Additionally, Notability provides different template settings to suit various needs, such as to-do lists, notebook paper, weekly planners, and study session planners.
Overall, Notability is an excellent app for handwriting notes and you can check them out on the App Store or Google Play by visiting https://notability.com/ to find out more and try it for yourself today!
