In July 2023, Nesuto will unveil its second outlet at Jewel Changi Airport, with an all-new aesthetic. With the new outlet, comes outlet-exclusive cakes, along with the debut of its latest Chocolate Bon Bons.
The new experiential café houses a delightful array of Japanese and French-inspired patisserie that are not only beautiful, but also deliver an exquisite taste experience.
“Nesuto”, which means “nest” in Japanese, embodies the brand’s aspiration to create a comfortable and inviting space that leaves a lasting impression and inspires returned visits – like a bird to its nest.
The New Space
Located on level 1 of Jewel Changi Airport, the store exterior features curved lines and soft edges reminiscent of the contours of an egg, subtly paying homage to the brand’s origins.
Its exterior is also meticulously hand painted stroke by stroke, to illustrate the organic and natural texture of the eggshell.
New Exquisite Creations – Simple Ingredients, Unique Taste Combinations
An expert in marrying flavours and textures, Alicia Wong, the co-founder and Executive Pastry Chef of Nesuto, draws her inspiration from Japanese flavours and combines traditional French pastry techniques with advanced technology to bring her unique creations to life.
Embracing a philosophy that centres around the use of simple, high-quality ingredients, Alicia allows the natural flavours (and colours) of her creations to shine in a minimalist, yet elegant and sophisticated manner.
Jewel-Exclusive Menu
As part of the opening launch, the Jewel outlet will launch new exclusive sliced cakes and debut its latest creations – Chocolate Bon Bons.
Made from chocolates that are sustainably and ethically sourced, Nesuto has developed six combinations with a few unexpected flavours, such as Earl Grey & Bergamot, Sesame Rum, Passionfruit & Hazelnut, Raspberry & Lime, Rose & Pistachio and Smoked Dark Chocolate & Caramel.
The chocolate bon bons go for $3.86 per piece / $23.14 for a box of 6.
New sliced cake options will also be available for their popular cakes at Jewel alongside new flavours like Matcha Chestnut, Chocolate Orange and Whisky Chocolate.
Exclusive to the Jewel outlet, Nesuto offers a unique opportunity for patrons to experience these new flavours firsthand, prior to making a purchase of the cakes in whole through Nesuto’s online store.

The Matcha Chestnut, $12.90 (best paired with Sencha) is an exquisite uji matcha mousse cake featuring a light custard base that offers a flavourful depth, layered with a Chestnut mousse filled with chunks of chestnuts, and topped with uji matcha chantilly cream and kuromame.
A unique pairing for some, the Chocolate Orange, $11.20 (best paired with Houjicha) is a decadent cake featuring a rich and velvety dark chocolate infused with the vibrant essence of orange. Complementing the moist chocolate sponge, is a house made orange compote and a luscious orange-infused dark chocolate ganache.
The Whiskey Chocolate, $11.90 (best paired with Tangerine Oolong) is a bold and tantalising dessert featuring a medley of chocolate, whiskey and a little cinnamon spice! The Jivara 40% cremeux is enhanced by the delightful crunch of cacao nibs and beautifully crowned with Orelys 35% mousse with notes of muscovado sugar.
Entremets or simply known as fancy French dessert is principled on multiple layers and textures, in harmony. Intricately put together to give you and your loved ones a flavourful experience, Nesuto offers a Joie Box, $72.36 that comprises of Pecan Vanille, Marron Cassis, Suzette, Queen Ispahan, Citron Pistache and Chocolat Vanille.
