I grew up with Disney Channel. I would watch tons of Disney animations, series, and movies. My favourite has got to be Disney’s original movies. There are several Disney movies that I enjoy watching but these are some of my all-time favourites.
High School Musical
Even though I am a year away from entering adulthood, the High School Musical franchise will always be my favourite. The first movie was released in 2006 when we were introduced to Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens).
We were then blessed with the sequel, High School Musical 2 as the Wildcats spend their summer break working at Lava Spring owned by Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan’s (Lucas Grabeel) parents. As if that was not enough, High School Musical 3: Senior Year was released in 2008 as we get to see the Wildcats prepare for their last musical before graduating East High.
When I say this is my favourite movie, I mean it. I remember all the songs like We’re All in This Together, Breaking Free and Bop to the Top. I could watch the movies all over again several times and never get tired of them.
Camp Rock
I am pretty such many would know the summer camp Disney movie, Camp Rock. Starring Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers, and more, the movie revolves around musically inclined teenagers who signed up for a summer camp to learn more about music and perform for The Final Jam.
The sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam was released in 2010 where they go against another summer camp that opened across the lake, Camp Star. Mitchie (Demi Lovato) and the other Camp Rock members then worked hard towards their final battle with Camp Star at The Final Jam where both groups performed their best performance to obtain the most votes from fans.
The songs in this film slaps too, such as This is Me, Hasta La Vista, We Rock and more! What can I say, they are performed by some of the greatest singers in America.
The Cheetah Girls
The Cheetah Girls franchise screams girl power. The franchise includes a total of 3 movies and they are all amazing. Similar to High School Musical and Camp Rock, the songs in these movies are some of the best. Some of which include Girl Power, It’s Over and Fly Away.
The first two movie stars Adrienne Bailon (Chanel), Kiely Williams (Aqua), Sabrina Bryan (Dorinda) and Raven-Symone (Galleria). The film revolves around the girls achieving their dream and their friendship.

The Cheetah Girls: One World only feature three of the members, Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda. The girls auditioned for stars of a Bollywood movie and made their way to India. However, tension rises between them as they have to audition against each other to be starred as the leading lady of the film.
However, their friendship mattered more and soon, their choreographer Gita (Deepti Daryanani) landed the role, and the Bollywood movie was a success.
