Meatsmith
Image Credits: Meatsmith, HoneycombersIt’s hardly necessary to guess as to what this location is known for, it’s right there in the name. In Telok Ayer and Little India , Meatsmith is a contemporary smokehouse serving authentic American barbecue. Meat platters, house-made sausage and juicy burgers along with some craft beer or aged cocktails are just a few of the items available on the menu. This establishment offers a rustic sandwich in addition to smokey grilled meat and burgers. For first timers, we recommend the fried chicken sandwich ($15) which contains a large piece of seasoned chicken in a thick batter that has been cooked to a crisp and is perfect for chicken lovers.

Blimpie
This American-style deli, which hails from the land of the free and the home of the brave, prepares subs, wraps, paninis, and salads fresh to order. Blimpie, which is located at Tanjong Katong, serves the standard Subway fare, but with a flair. Regulars, tend to order the Hoboken Hero ($7.50), which is packed with beef pepperoni, beef salami, and provolone cheese, offering a robust eating experience while also showing the Blimpie touch.

Joe & Dough
This franchise of bistros is known for its coffee and sandwiches, which are an essential lunch fare. To ensure the greatest flavour, all sandwiches are cooked fresh and all bread are baked fresh at the cafés. Try the roast beef and sweet relish sandwich ($8.80) which is packed with roast beef, mushrooms, sweet relish, and dijon mustard on a sesame brioche bun if you are craving something meaty. You can also turn to, the guacamole and feta sandwich ($8.80) if you want a non-meat option as well.

Korio
Korio’s little location within Far East Square is fairly unnoticeable and if you’re not paying attention to the doughnut display, you could just miss it. Order the Grilled Cheese ($9), which is filled with American cheese, cheddar, and caramelised onions if you enjoy cheesy sandwiches. Or try the Grilled Haloumi ($13), which comes between two oiled up pieces of sesame bread and is nicely filled with rocket leaves, acidic roasted cherry tomatoes, and caramelised onions.

Park Bench Deli

Layers of meat and savoury sauces are what you can look for when you come here. The mala-spiced chicken ($17), a crispy, deep-fried cutlet coated in tongue-tingling spices, is hard to resist here and if you’re feeling very wild, toss in a side of cripsy tater tots. Do only visit in clothing’s you mind getting dirty as these sandwiches are sloppy, over-the-top affairs, so be prepared with a stack of napkins.
Location: 179 Telok Ayer St, Singapore 068627
Opening Hours: 9.00am – 3.30pm, 5.00pm – 10.00pm (Tue – Sat) | 9.00am – 4.30pm (Sun)
