What are some examples of the augmented reality (AR) are you familiar with? Perhaps Pokemon Go, or maybe Snapchat. Well, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre has launched an AR drive through exhibition, happening from now till March 28th.
Moo Moo PARK is Asia’s first drive through exhibition that brings visitors through a series of 3D and AR displays and an opportunity to learn about the Chinese culture in Singapore. This exhibition focuses on sustainability, providing an experience for visitors like never before.
Drive Through Your Way
No driver’s license? Do not worry. Visitors get to choose between exploring the exhibition on their own or get chauffeured in an electric car. visitors can hop onto the Hyundai IONIQ, accompanied with a 15-minute audio-guided tour.
Visitors can also stop in between displays to get a closer look. Inspired by the Ox in the Chinese zodiac, visitors can expect displays inspired by the zodiac. While visitors enjoy these displays, the audio guide helps visitors understand the artists’ inspiration and the meaning behind each display.
For those who are more adventurous and wants to explore the exhibition by themselves, a walk-through of the exhibition is also available.
Engage Your Senses
Not only are there art displays, but visitors can also immerse themselves in a multi-sensory display, ‘Mandarin Moo-ments’. As you imagine giving and receiving oranges during CNY, this display combines the aroma of mandarin tea and orange blossoms.
Meeting the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations Environment Programme, this display aims to spread awareness on the efforts taken for the environment.
AR Experience
With a number of QR codes around the exhibition, visitors get to enjoy AR displays by scanning these codes. From local artists such as ANTZ and Puffingmuffin, these AR effects are sure to captivate visitors with their fun and colourful displays.
Furthermore, these QR codes will also bring visitors to Instagram story effects, where they can capture selfies with these colourful and fun AR effects powered by Spark AR.

In addition to the exhibits, visitors will receive a red packet designed with artworks by Puffingmuffin as they leave. It is not just a normal red packet; these are special ones that wishes visitors a Happy Chinese New Year in the five dialects as colourful illustrations pop up.
