Never would we have imagined but here we are, a very interesting take on the “east meets west” fusion. McDonalds, for the first time, is going to introduce their celebrity meal series outside the US. This means that fans around the world get to taste exactly what their favourite celebrities eat at our favourite global fast-food chain.

With this new BTS collaboration, here is what you get when you order the BTS meal, which is supposedly their favourite meal at McDonalds: Nine-piece chicken Mcnuggets Box, with fries, a drink, and Sweet Chilli and Cajun dipping sauce (inspired by the McDonald’s dipping sauces in South Korea).

BTS Label, Bighit Music, commented that the band has “fond memories” with McDonald’s, and they are excited to share their meal with the world.

Rest assured, the collaboration is approved as it is known that BTS themselves are big fans of the Golden Arches. Members of the band have been spotted eating McDonalds on tour, during their break, and while filming. Sope (J-Hope and Suga) and V also own McDonald’s themed merch (quite cool right).

The Celebrity Signature Orders Programme launched in the US last year, with its inaugural collaboration going to Travis Scott, launching the record label inspired Cactus Jack Meal Combo, which comes with a Quarter Pounder with cheese, lettuce, bacon, fries, barbeque sauce, and Sprite (With extra ice, cause he likes it like that).

Singapore is among the 49 countries that are going to be carrying the BTS Meal, and the drop will be on 27 May 2021. You can look to the McDonald’s Singapore social media pages (Facebook) (Instagram) for more information on the drop!

Meanwhile, we would all have to wait and continue streaming their songs online, prepping for the delicious meal to drop. Yumzzz!
