From 12 December 2023 to 14 January 2024, visitors can savour and try seven specialty MAMA dishes at HUE as Thai instant noodle brand MAMA showcases its first-ever Asia pop-up at 123 Tyrwhitt Road.
Look forward to a space transformed into MAMA heaven with various themed photo spots alongside cute cushions and merchandise that you can stand a chance to win when you dine in.
During this exclusive one-month affair, patrons will step into a MAMA paradise as HUE undergoes a MAMA makeover, converting every corner into a captivating photo spot furnished with MAMA instant noodle packet cushions and plushies.
The star attraction is a life-sized MAMA noodles cup inviting visitors to step inside and fully immerse themselves in its flavourful world.
When you visit Thai MAMA instant noodle heaven, guests can tantalize their taste buds with seven MAMA dishes, consisting of five mains and two starters
Made using the original MAMA noodles as well as the OK Oriental Kitchen series’ noodles, look forward to instant noodles transformed into novel tasty dishes that will delight your senses.
- OG MAMA Tom Yum ($22): MAMA Noodle in creamy tom yum flavour transformed with additions of minced pork meatballs, crispy pork belly, and tiger prawns. Topped with Maepranom Thai chilli paste, egg yolk, cilantro, coriander and lime.
- MAMA Beef ($22): Tender slices of char-grilled beef marinated with HUE’s signature Bullseye cooked in a flavourful beef bone broth spiced with Thai herb powder that is brewed over six hours. OK Oriental Kitchen Noodles is served and finished with pork lard, celery, fried garlic, kalian vegetables, and chili powder with oil.
- MAMA Crispy Pork Basil ($18): Original MAMA Noodles embellished with generous portions of crispy pork belly and pork lard, made hot and spicy with red chili and Kra Prow (Thai basil).
- MAMA Dried Suki ($15): MAMA Noodles tossed in high heat in a wok with house-made Thai-style Suki Sauce with lashings of kang kong, cabbage, and tender chicken thigh cubes.
- MAMA Soft-shell Prawn Truffle ($22): Springy OK Oriental Kitchen Noodles stir-fried in a truffle sauce base intensified in flavour with pepper prawn stock, butter, and garlic for earthy explosions. Served with a side of deep-fried soft shell prawns tossed in Thai bomba seasoning and finished off with generous toppings of tobiko Japanese prawn roe.
- MAMA Lup Cheong ($15): A sweet, sour, and spicy salad made from original MAMA Noodles solidified with highlights like shredded fried egg, Chinese dried sausage, hot dog and minced pork. Splashes of colour is provided by celery, red chili, cherry tomato, palm sugar, lime juice, and fish sauce.
- MAMA Meatball Larb ($13): An iteration of Thai larb chopped salad mixed with chopped shallots, cilantro, spring onion, coriander, and mint leaves. Tossed in HUE’s house larb sauce concocted from sticky rice pops, rice powder, lime juice, and chili flakes, topped off with minced pork and pork balls.
