‘Lost You Forever’ weaves a unique historical fantasy narrative, deviating from conventional storytelling with Xiao Yao as the sole female lead and four distinctive male protagonists. Xiao Yao’s journey unfolds as her mother goes to war, leading her to Jade Mountain for spiritual cultivation.
Transforming into a guy, running a clinic, and encountering Tu Shan Jing and Xiang Liu, her tale deepens with layers of love, sacrifice, and supernatural entanglements, further enriched by the introduction of Feng Long, a future clan leader.
Xiao Yao
Separated from her cousin, Xiao Yao conceals her identity and loses her face in a transformation, enduring years of solitude in the forest. Amidst her isolation, she encounters torment from someone and despite not being the king’s daughter, finds solace in her true father’s unwavering love amidst enduring hardships.
Cang Xuan
Cang Xuan, Xiao Yao’s cousin, encounters her in her clinic, but their long separation leads to him not recognizing her initially. Upon discovering her identity, he regrets not treating her well.
Despite cherishing Xiao Yao deeply, he conceals his feelings and treats her as a sister, grappling with the pain of her love for Tu Shan Jing while navigating his own aspirations to become the king of his kingdom.
Tu Shan Jing
Tu Shan Jing, saved by Xiao Yao from brutal torture inflicted by his jealous brother, finds solace in her clinic. However, his identity as a wealthy family’s son is exposed, complicating his feelings for Xiao Yao.
Despite being in love with her, he is bound by an engagement and compelled to marry another woman, leaving Xiao Yao and Tu Shan Jing without a happy ending.
Xiang Liu
Initially seeking Xiao Yao’s blood, Xiang Liu evolves to deeply care and love her, going to great lengths to protect and care for her.
Despite harboring his feelings in silence and witnessing her fall for someone else, he remains a steadfast guardian, demonstrating selfless devotion to Xiao Yao.
Feng Long
Feng Long falls in love with Xiao Yan when introduced by Tu Shan Jing, drawn not only to her but also to her identity as the princess, aligning with his role as the future clan leader.
