In celebration of its 32nd anniversary, Soup Restaurant has launched two sister F&B concepts, Little Teahouse (Bugis Village) and CAFÉ O (Bugis Village & Changi Airport T2). Indulge in Chinatown-style dim sum at Little Teahouse or enjoy the finest of Singapore’s comfort food, kopi and teh at CAFÉ O.
Little Teahouse
Paying homage to the teahouses that once adorned Chinatown from the 1950s to the 1970s, Little Teahouse provides a casual and quick-serve dim sum experience without service charges.
The menu boasts over 35 varieties of handcrafted dim sum, alongside familiar local favourites like chee cheong fun, congee, individual rice bowls, and staples such as Char Siew Wanton Noodles and more.
Exclusive to the Bugis outlet are three enticing dishes: the Little Teahouse Signature Egg Tart ($4.60 for 2pcs), Lychee Prawn Ball with Mozzarella Cheese ($6 for 3pcs), and Mushroom Truffle Bao ($5.40 for 3pcs).
Known for their Samsui Ginger Chicken, try the inspired Samsui Ginger Chicken Bao ($4.60) that features diced chicken marinated with young ginger, providing a sharp contrast to the chicken’s natural sweetness.
Another standout is the Majie Chives with Pork Dumpling ($4.20), filled with minced pork and an abundant amount of chives that absorb the pork’s flavours and juices.
Visit them at 229 Victoria Street, Bugis Village, Singapore 188023 from 10am to 11pm (Sun-Thu) and 10am to 11.30pm (Sat & Eve of PH) for your next late-night treat!
CAFÉ O
CAFE O proudly serves the finest in Singapura’s comfort food, kopi, and teh. Conceived as a platform to showcase Singapore’s unique coffee shop culture, CAFE O offers authentic Kopi O, Teh Tarik, Nasi Lemak, and Roti Prata.
A unique sweet yet savoury treat, the Nian Gao Prata ($6.80) features a chunk of rice cake sandwiched between Indian flatbread, creating a delightful interplay of chewy and crispy textures.
Diners can also savour the Crispy Fluffy Roti Prata, prepared à la minute, with a crisp and light texture that pairs wonderfully with the accompanying fish curry. Alternatively, indulge in their Malay Ginger Chicken Rice ($9.80) for a fusion of Malay-style fried chicken and traditional Chinese chicken rice.
You can visit their outlets at Bugis Village (229 Victoria Street (S)188023) or Changi Airport Terminal 2 (#02-07/08/09).
