KEK Seafood Opens At SAFRA Punggol With Unique Urban Landscaping Interior

Taking the words “dining out” to the next level, customers can immerse themselves in a unique ‘outdoor’ dining experience surrounded by familiar icons of Singapore’s development at KEK Seafood’s third outlet in SAFRA Punggol.

With a uniquely designed interior, the entrance mirrors Punggol’s MRT platform. Tarmac floors painted with road signs guide patrons to their seats, and the setting includes a standing 1980s bus stop and ERP sign.

In line with the multi-cultural ethos of Singapore, KEK Seafood blends uniquely Singaporean motifs, providing a dining experience that will resonate deeply with the locals.

An eye-catching expressway tunnel with adjustable arrow lighting and a canopy adorned with hanging lightbulbs contribute to the distinctive ambiance with childhood games such as marbles (goli), hopscotch, and vibrant Peranakan Shophouses painted on the walls and floors.

Plus adding to the charm are hand-drawn murals by local artists Sufian Hamri and Tiffany Yao, depicting scenes of children playing at the iconic Dragon Playground.

Known for their good food, the menu at SAFRA Punggol will not disappoint as it introduces exclusive dishes such as Grilled Assorted Seafood with KEK Homemade Sauce ($32.80) featuring fresh tiger prawns, clams, mushrooms, and vermicelli complemented by KEK Seafood’s signature homemade sauce that packs an aromatic punch.

The Otah Charcoal Fried Dough Fritters with Salad ($16.80) on the other hand is smoked and paired with crisp charcoal fried dough fritters for texture and tied together with the refreshing crispness of a salad.

Sizzling Claypot Moonlight Horfun

The innovative Sizzling Claypot Moonlight Horfun (($15.80) is a new spin on the popular Signature Moonlight Horfun from KEK Seafood as they bring the aromatic smokiness of the dish to the next level with the help of a claypot that promises crispy bits you can scrape off the bottom when you dig in!

Finally, the delectable Cereal Hae Bee Hiam Fried Ice Cream ($8.80/2pcs) harmoniously brings together the contrasting sweet and umami flavours of ice cream and hae bee hiam for a delightful culinary experience.
