Calling all e-sports lovers, watch your favourite pro-gamers battle it out this December as the JBL Quantum Cup gaming tournament returns, bigger than ever! Expect three days of action, two new titles, and more opportunities for viewers and players to win big at this end-of-year event happening from 17 to 19 December 2021.
In partnership with ESL, the largest esports organisation in the world, JBL invites gaming fans across the world to watch, play and win. This year, there are more opportunities for fans to play against the pros.
Alongside the highly-anticipated return of Fortnite, JBL introduces two new titles to this year’s event: Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and Apex Legends.
Fans will be able to see the top names in esports, including the newly signed 100 Thieves Apex Legends team go head-to-head, and will even have the chance to play in the JBL Quantum Cup’s global Fortnite tournament. Viewers can catch all the action live on JBL’s Twitch channel and IGN.com (U.S. only) as well as on IGN’s new, dedicated esports YouTube Channel IGN Compete.
Here’s a rundown of what you can expect across the 3 days of the event:
- December 17:
- FortniteAsia Pacific, beginning at 6 p.m. AEDT
- FortniteEurope, beginning at 6 p.m. CET
- Fortnite North America, beginning at 4 p.m. PST
- December 18:
- CS:GO Asia Pacific, beginning at 6 p.m. AEDT
- Some of the best Apex Legends players will compete in the North America Day 1 competition, beginning at 1 p.m. PST
- December 19:
- Apex Legends competition continues with the North America Day 2 Finals, beginning at 1 p.m. PST

Interested to join the tournament? Aspiring gamers from across the globe will have the chance to compete for a coveted spot in the global JBL Quantum Cup Fortnite tournament, with regional qualifying rounds held in North America, Europe and Asia on 27 and 28 November 2021. During the global event, JBL will be at the centre of the esports world with the best professional teams, hosts and entertainers. In addition to the 100 Thieves Apex Legends team, participants will be able to engage with other JBL Ambassadors and pro gamers – including SypherPK, Arkhram, Doigby, Keebabb, and Royalistiq.
Furthermore, enjoy special JBL.com promotions and prize drops during the stream. Cash prize pools are also up for grabs in this year’s JBL Quantum Cup, including USD35,000 for each regional Fortnite championship, USD25,000 for the CS:GO finals and USD50,000 for Apex Legends.
