What is your favourite cuisine? I have to say mine would probably be Indian, Thai, and Indonesian cuisine. The flavours in the dishes, to die for! However, there are other cuisines that are available here in Singapore.
Such cuisines include Korean, French, and more. We will be looking into one of the many cuisines here in Singapore, Japanese! I appreciate the simple yet delicious dishes in Japanese cuisine. I love sushi, it is probably my favourite. For all the Japanese food lovers out there, good news! A new Japanese restaurant has recently opened near Outram Park, SENSHI Sushi and Grill.
Overview
Managed by Veteran Chef Martin Woo and Team, SENSHI is the first contemporary Japanese buffet restaurant located in the Central Business District (CBD) area. The restaurant offers a large dining area able to accommodate 115 diners and two private rooms.
You can definitely expect an extraordinary dining experience as it is furnished with Japanese-styled interior and furniture. SENSHI, which also mean warrior, fits the nature of the restaurants as it serves dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
Menu
Speaking of the use of fresh ingredients, some of their headlining dishes includes their Spicy Salmon Roe Sushi Roll, Lobster Salad Sushi, and more! At time goes by, the menu changes to feature other dishes to reflect the mood of changing times.
Their menu offers a wide range of dishes from appetisers to rice and noodles. Some appetisers include their Mentaiko Tamago which is a sweet egg omelette with mentaiko sauce and their Nanban Zuke – fried fish marinated with vinaigrette sauce.
You can also indulge in their grilled dishes such as their Tori Teriyaki Sauce which is grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce and their Jagaimo Mentai Cheese Yaki – baked potato with onions with spicy talamasalata
Desserts and Beverages
End your meal with your choice of dessert. Some of which include their Chizukeki Aisukurimu which is Hokkaido cheesecake with soft serve and their Manago Passhon Keki – mango passion layer cake.
Apart from that, the ingredients used are imported at the peak of their freshness. You can also sip on a wide range of alcoholic beverages such as beer, hard liquor and Japanese sake to end the meal!
That is one massive buffet! This is such a great option for family dinners or even a reunion with old friends. Since it is located at the CBD area, colleagues can also end the week with a Japanese cuisine dinner – great for bonding too!
