In Singapore, we love our food. Whether it’s fishball noodles, char kuey tiao or nasi lemak, we love eating anything and everything! However, often times we end up overeating and are left feeling bloated or indigested and simply needed something to wash it all down. Look no further, digesT is here to help!

As two big foodies, founders Mark and Raina realised that bloatedness and indigestion were two very common side effects they experienced after a heavy meal and were determined to find a solution to help relief this discomfort. That’s how they started to experiment and after much trial-and-error were able to find a natural cure that tastes great, is caffeine-free and is made up of natural ingredients.

After speaking to different people, the couple realized that there were many others who experienced similar side effects and were also for looking for something to help. This led to the founding of digesT whose mission is to help fellow Singaporeans who are looking to alleviate this discomfort or are simply looking for that perfect cup of tea during the day.

The Original digesT ($12 for 10 teabags) contains ingredients such as osmanthus, jujube and superfood goji berry, giving it a light and fragrant profile with just a touch of sweetness.

The Chrysanthemum digesT ($12 for 10 teabags) has a stronger floral taste, with a hint of sweetness from the jujube and goji berry while the Peppermint Bloom digesT ($12 for 10 teabags) brings on a light floral profile extracted from lavender and French rose, coupled with a peppermint base.

Each type of digesT comes in a classic kraft pack that contains 10 tea bags. Upgrade it to a reusable airtight glass jar at $18 to conveniently store your tea or better yet – as a gift for any occasion!

FYI – they have just opened up pre-orders for their exclusive Christmas Gift Sets. Be sure to catch them before they sell out!

Sustainability and supporting local are important priorities at digesT as well. Their teas are made with premium ingredients sourced from local suppliers and are packed in eco-friendly teabags and packaging. To further encourage customers to pick a sustainable option, digesT also offers a $0.50 rebate when customers opt for repurposed packaging obtained from:

  • Plastic that used to contain the tea ingredients during bulk packaging
  • The Sustainability Project’s Zero Waste Packaging Initiative (ZWPI) where we purchase unused/donated packaging to save it from the landfills
