Fans of the beloved hotpot chain rejoice as Haidilao will be launching 10 new mainstays that will be available from 10 February 2023 onwards! Look forward to their new soup base, the Mala Milk Broth that is delightfully creamy and mildly spicy alongside many others.
The Mala Milk Broth soup base is an answered call to many requests by customers for a drinkable mala and Haidilao has delivered. By adding milk to its signature mala, it adds a savoury creaminess to the soup while lowering the spice level to a palatable richness that tastes great on its own.
Adding on to their new repertoire is a Tobiko Chunky Prawn Paste that is made with larger chunks of fresh prawn mixed with fish roe. An upgraded version of their popular prawn paste, enjoy the juicy burst and popping sensations of the fish roe that promises a satisfying mouthfeel.
For a carbohydrate option that takes just 8 seconds to cook, the Waterfall Potato Strings are crunchy, crisp and tender when cooked that makes for an interesting taste in terms of texture. Alternatively, go with the Sweet Potato Noodles which have now been upgraded to be wider in size to soak up the flavourful broths.
For those who are abit more health conscious, Haidilao now offers Low-fat, Low-cal Konjac Slices that is made to mimic the look of beef tripe (毛肚) without compromising on taste. Konjac helps to improve digestion, increase immunity, and regulate blood pressure and these slices are chewy, refreshing and healthy.
If you are a meat lover, opt for the Sichuan Pepperfect Beef Tongue instead that is marinated in a Sichuan peppercorn oil that retains its delicious spice even after cooking. Put a few slices into your soup for just 15 seconds and it is ready to eat!
Another highlight is the Beef in Milk Bath, which sees melt-in-your-mouth wagyu soused in milk that continues tenderizing the meat even when served. We would recommend cooking this dish in the Mala Milk Broth for added flavour and creaminess.
Wash the food down with the palate-cleansing bubbly sodas: Fizzy Strawberry Pop and Fizzy Sour Plum Pop. The strawberry version is sweet while the sour plum is infused with lime for a refreshing combo.
Finally, end the session with the Brown Sugar Lava Rice Cake, which is a new spin on a traditional snack. Bite into it and the earthy-sweet brown sugar filling will ooze out for a not too sweet yet delicious dessert.
The new offerings will be available from 10 February 2023 onwards at all Haidilao outlets in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand so head on down to an outlet near you to try these new items! You can make a booking via the Haidilao Singapore’s Inline App to make a reservation now.
