Great Nanyang, established by the founder behind Yang Ming Seafood, is all set to further keep culture and heritage alive with its nostalgic food and drinks. Embarking on an exciting new chapter, look forward to the grand opening of their latest outlet situated at 111 Somerset (#01-09) in the heart of Orchard on 31st March 2024.

Boasting Instagram-worthy decor reminiscent of 1990s Singapore and Malaysia, including a recreated Singtel telephone booth, a wall adorned with old Khong Guan biscuit tins and upcycled metal cans of Knife cooking oil, the ambiance exudes retro charm. Other than the interior, they are also upgrading their menu with new food.

For spice enthusiasts, tantalizing offerings like Curry Chicken Toast ($7.90) and Curry Chicken Chee Cheong Fun ($9.90) are available, showcasing rich flavours atop toasted baguette slices or steamed rice rolls.

Curry Chicken Toast ($7.90)

Indulge your inner child with Claypot Mee Tai Mak ($9.90), served bubbling hot in a pot, and customisable Milo Toast with traditional ($3.50) or thick ($4.00) variations, drizzled with condensed milk.

To pair with their food, quench your thirst with innovative beverages like Longan Tea ($3.80) served in a mason jar, Sai Ka Hor (Hot $3, Cold $5) blending Milo and tea, and creamy Soy Milk Coffee ($5.90).

Additionally, a selection of Popsicles ($3 each) in flavours like Ribena, Sour Plum, Kopi-O, Hor Ka Sai, Milo, and Mango await at the Mamashop popsicle stand.

The children from the 80s will remember buying and sampling these sweet treats that are encased in a long strip of plastic and tied with rubber bands, upping the nolstagic vibes when you visit.

To celebrate the launch of their second outlet, Great Nanyang is sharing the sweetness with Popsicles priced at 50% off at only $1.50 (UP $3.00). Available only from 5 to 7 April 2024, enjoy an icy treat of nostalgia amidst a priceless blast to our Singaporean past.

Address: 111 Somerset Road, #01-09, Singapore 238164

Opening Hours: 7.30am – 9pm daily
