Started in 2021, Mission Foods created their #LikeBreadButBetter campaign to challenge Singaporeans to rethink bread as a diet staple and go for alternative products instead. Mission carries an extensive range of wraps, pitas and naans with different flavours like garlic and herbs and healthy add-ins like quinoa and chia seeds, making sandwich replacements easy and delicious!
This year’s #LikeBreadButBetter campaign is titled “Around The World With Mission”, and features nine Singaporean home cooks and food influencers reimagining their favourite sandwiches from their travels with Mission Foods products.

Dr Leslie Tay from @ieatishootipost created his own version of the classic Belle Isle Boston Roll from Boston, USA using Mission Garlic Wraps, adding in garlic butter tiger prawns and surimi (crab sticks) tossed in mayo and green onions.
Vietnamese Pork Meatball Mission Chia Wrap by @sarahhuangbenjamin
Sarah Huang Benjamin recreated Vietnam’s iconic Banh Mi using Mission Chia Wraps, handmade pork meatballs and a fish sauce-based dressing.
Indian Masala Bombay Toast by @limjenjen
For an explosion of classic Indian flavours and spices, try Jen Jen Lim’s Masala Bombay Toast, which fills Mission Pitas with red onion, green chilli, cilantro, ground turmeric and mango chutney.
Japanese Doily Sando by @hellohomebodies
For a little trip to Japan, try Ruby and Kenny’s Doily Sando, which is inspired by the fruit sandwiches from Japanese konbinis! It’s a simple and refreshing snack containing strawberries, whipped cream and lemon curd.
