Founded by STB-award winner and serial entrepreneur Clarence Chua in late 2020, we launched our flagship product, the Rooftop Farm Experience — and were soon booked solid almost every weekend.
Because in this strange season of restricted travel, we are all looking for something fun (and maybe crazy) to do, on this small island of ours. Which is not visiting the Merlion or the Zoo… So, we spent the past year conjuring a sweep of eclectic experiences, for people of all interests and ages.
You have probably not tried most of this stuff — Now you can, from efoiling (an electric-powered surfboard), to going up close with honeybees, to learning how to mix cocktails in a desert-themed bar…. Come experience our range of hyperlocal adventures in this small but unexpectedly exciting city!

Ninja Kayakers (NK)
Explore the hidden coasts of Singapore with not a soul in sight! 10 years ago, NK’s founder bought an inflatable kayak and used it to explore the coasts and reservoirs of Singapore, and just last year due to Covid, started bringing friends and family around. Since then, it has done almost two trips per week, delighting many urbanites who love to see and explore hitherto-unknown places in their own backyard.
This experienced team of guides has developed over ten routes around Singapore, compared to other operators. With over 20 years of experience, they will select the route for the day based on the tide and current. Whether it’s a mangrove, urban, or Sentosa-based route, you’ll be whisked away to discover hidden gems of nature in Singapore you never knew existed!

Efoil Surfing
Be among the first in Singapore to ride an eFoil — a battery-powered surfboard that glides above the water. Imagine speeding around our beaches like the Silver Surfer, with just a press of a button! Hydro Foilers is run by Ninja Kayakers, who have a decade of experience around Singapore’s waters.
eFoil surfboards are battery-powered surfboards, with a mast and motor under the water. This pushes the boards up at speed, giving you the feeling of flying — and complete freedom to go wherever you want to. All you have to do is find your balance, and let the motor do the work for you. With a touring range of 14km, you can make epic adventures easily, with no fear of the currents or fatigue. We offer both training classes, and tours for those who can foil comfortably.

Paper Marbling
Learn the ancient 15th century Venetian craft of paper marbling. Paper marbling uses a aqueous surface design, which produces patterns similar to smooth marble, just dizzyingly colourful. The patterns are the result of paint floated on a viscous solution, and then carefully transferred to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric.
Run by Candice Li, who has been in the arts industry for 10 years, you’ll art jam either on the lushly-planted rooftop of the Sundowner, or in a purpose-built studio dedicated to this creative art form. At Studio Marbleous we continue to pursue the pleasure of freezing beautiful aqueous designs on paper, while pushing the boundaries of the craft. You’ll get to experiment and take home your own frame art piece!

Cocktail-Mixing
Only drank the drinks but never made them? Now you can! Our Cocktail-Mixing Experience at The Nomad’s Tent is set in the truly unexpected setting of a desert dwelling. A session with us will transport you to faraway lands. With over 1.5hrs of this interactive session, you will learn the basics of mixology and cocktails. Together with our bartenders, you will create 3 classic cocktails, complete with desert / Mediterranean-based garnishing. 
As you have fun with your friends creating these bespoke drinks, soak in the vibe of a desert (sans the heat). The Nomad’s Tent is Singapore first desert-themed bar, inspired by our 2016 journey to the Saharan oasis of Ksar Ghilane, Tunisia. Come see our real sand floor, mood lighting plus music, and bar table with water running through it — like an oasis stream in the desert!

Pizza-Making
Our team of food-passionate experience-makers will prepare everything you need, from the dough to toppings to firewood. We also grow an array of plant garnishing on our rooftop, which you can harvest and cook downstairs. Sage, Basil, Thyme… you choose how exotic you want your pizza to be! Held in a secret backyard of a retro shophouse, the 3hr session starts with arguably the best part: raising the fire (using legit orange firewood)!
Then you begin the creative process of making pizza by hand, including preparing the ingredients, building a base sauce, stretching + shaping the dough, and bringing together all the elements of your pizza. The most rewarding part awaits — chugging your creation into our DIY brick oven and watch it bake brown and golden in 500 degrees heat! We’ll finish off with dinner… and legit no meal tastes better than something you’ve prepared yourself and eaten straight out of the oven.

Terrarium-Building
Seen those beautiful terrariums in the shops, but you didn’t buy? It probably wasn’t just because they were too expensive– we think it’s because of a lack of love — someone else made it, you see. Just like food, we tend to enjoy something we made ourselves. Now you can design your own little bubble of green with us. Building a terrarium isn’t just about putting some soil and plants together. To create something that lasts more than a few weeks, you have to choose the right soil, create drainage, select the right plants… and of course scape it artistically.
We use a unique dome terrarium, which you can either hang or sit anywhere with sufficient light. Workshops, for all ages, are held on the beautiful Sundowner rooftop. Each session lasts 1.5 hours and comes with farm infusion refreshments. You will get to take home a unique globe terrarium, and lots of beautiful pictures!

Rooftop Farm Experience (RFE)
Our flagship experience, which continues to be booked out one year later! At our 2hour RFE, learn how everything in nature is interconnected: how bio-active soil grows healthy plants, which in turn produce flowers and fruits high in nutrition! And that fruiting plants need pollinators to produce fruits, which is where our rescued bees come in.
You’ll get to go up close to some 30,000 of them — safely in a bee suit, of course. Finally, savour some nutritious honey and garnish your own cocktails (or a healthy alternative, kombucha), with organic produce grown in the farm around you. All under a glorious sunset.

Lounge Sessions / Movie Screenings
Come up and escape to one of our private spaces at The Sundowner! Hang at our farm-based Rooftop Lounge overlooking the bars of Siglap, or soak in the vibes of the desert in the outrageous The Nomad’s Tent. Either location is simply different from any other chill out spot in Singapore.
Best of all, there’s no agenda or maddening crowd — just you, your friends, and a great evening ahead. Each 1.5 hour seating comes with two cocktail drinks. You can even make a whole-evening booking and enjoy a private movie screening.
