When life becomes too hard, spending time with nature or treating yourself to a day of self-care with food and hair treatment is the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. It’s much cooler if you can mix the two into one fantastic adventure, both nature and selfcare. That’s why we adore Walking On Sunshine, a tucked-away jewel in Orchard Central that houses a garden-themed cafe and salon.
Food (All-You-Can-Eat Buffet)

It you have been living under a rock and don’t know what a Kroffle is, it’s basically a cross between a butter croissant and a crisp, fluffy waffle. The rise in popularity is largely due to cafes in Korea and social media trends, but these bites have since made their way to Singapore, where they can be found at Walking on Sunshine. Currently they are having a hard to pass offer where they are serving up Kroffle Buffets to customers for only $9.90.
The Kroffle Buffet, which is available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily in May, brings a whole new twist on breakfast with all-you-can-eat croissant-waffles. There are eight different flavours to choose from, both sweet and savoury. In a way, they’re all influenced by common breakfast flavours.
On the savory side, the Lime-Avocado, a kroffle take on avocado toast, is a must-try. The Bacon-Mash Potato, a loaded croffle topped with bacon and potatoes, is another choice. For cheese lovers, there isn’t a short on cheesy options, with flavors such as Honey Mustard Cream Cheese, Corn Cheese, and Garlic Cream Cheese.
If you have a sweet tooth, try the classic Chocolate or Cinnamon for dessert. For a more light hearted fruity flavour, you can give the Jam-topped Mix Berry with strawberries a go.
To cut down on food wastage, the cafe can only serve two Kroffles per customer at a time. If your mouth is dry after stuffing your face down with those delectable pastries, you can always wash them down with Walking On Sunshine’s beverages, which includes tea, coffee, juices, and more.
