Look forward to a refreshed shopping experience at UNIQLO’s flagship store at Orchard Central as well as online with their month long celebration from 1st to 30th October 2021. Featuring new e-commerce offerings, in-store workshops and more, these activities aim to focus on the very best of LifeWear craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability.

New Shopping Experiences (In-Store)

Partnering with local entrepreneurs, UNIQLO Singapore is looking to amplify the shoppers’ experience with weekly in-store workshops at their Orchard Central Flagship Store.

Workshop Details

L: Fragrance Masterblend by Scent by Six; R: Furoshiki Wrapping by Janus Academy
  • Fragrance Masterblend by Scent by Six (Date: 9 & 10 October 2021 | Time: 2pm – 3pm)

For those who are looking to relax and unwind, look forward to a holistic sensory experience with this masterclass workshop led by Scent by Six. With a SGD100 minimum spend either at the Orchard Central Flagship Store or online between 8 and 21 October, shoppers can redeem a mini 3ml bottle Room Mist that will soothe one’s senses, while stocks last.

  • Furoshiki Wrapping by Janus Academy (Date: 16 & 17 October | Time: 2pm – 3pm)

Explore the art of Furoshiki (Japanese traditional folding cloth) led by Janus Academy that aims to inspire shoppers to leave aside plastic bags as well as wrapping paper, and instead make use of the versatility of fabric. This is a eco-friendly option where one can use cloth (even pre-loved printed shirts and flannels) to wrap and carry food and gifts, while doing their part for the environment.

L: Upcycling workshop by FIN Crafted Goods; R: Embroidery craft workshop by Isabel Lim
  • Upcycling Jeans by FIN Crafted Goods (Date: 3 & 24 October | Time: 2pm – 4pm)

To continue the theme of being environmentally-conscious, shoppers can also try their hand at upcycling their pre-loved jeans at workshops conducted by FIN Crafted Goods. Exemplifying the Japanese concept of ‘mottainai’ or ‘waste nothing’, participants will learn how to make coasters from their jeans to give it a new lease of life.

  • Embroidery by Isabel Lim (Date: 30 & 31 October | Time: 2pm – 3.30pm)

Enjoy the art of customisation for some of UNIQLO’s iconic products. From the AIRism mask, cut-and-sewn t-shirts, jeans and more, bring your imagination to life with embroidery artist Isabel Lim through this workshop for products that are uniquely yours.

Do note that all workshops are by invitation only to customers who have shopped at the Orchard Central Flagship Store in 2021 thus do visit the store for more information on how to participate.

UNIQLO App Members Exclusive

UNIQLO app members rejoice! With a same-day receipt of at least SGD60, take a coffee break at the Orchard Central Flagship Store across the five weekends in October between 1pm and 5pm. L: Custom coffee blend by Alchemist; R: Small potted plant by The Nursery

You can also bring home a potted plant from The Nursery if you spend a minimum of SGD60 at the Orchard Central Flagship Store between 5pm and 9pm from Monday to Friday, and between 10am – 12pm on Saturday and Sunday in October.

With a minimum spend of SGD60, shoppers can redeem a small potted plant on weekdays from 4 October onwards between 5pm – 9pm, while stocks last. With the plants set up in store, interested shoppers can also scan the QR code to view and purchase the plants online to hone their green fingers.
