A spin-off from the popular Ristorante Pietrasanta, Casa Pietrasanta brings the same refined tastes of Italian-Mediterranean with its new private dining concept. Curated for smaller and more intimate celebrations, the dishes here will bring family and loved ones around the table at the end of a long day!
With two menus available for lunch and dinner respectively, the 3- and 4-course lunch is priced at $49.90 and $59.90 per person, while the 3-course dinner begins at $64.90 per person and $74.90 per person for 4 courses.
For appetisers, take your pick from house signatures like the Seabass Carpaccio or the Stracciatella (additional $5) burrata cream accompanied by 18-month parma ham, semi-dry tomatoes and a home-made balsamic glaze.
Simplicity presents itself with the Crostone di Parma of pizza crouton tomato, rocket salad, parma ham and parmesan cheese or enjoy the Tortino della Lunigiana, a classical take on the traditional zucchini and red onion frittata from Lunigiana.
For mains, the Risotto Escargot (additional $4) is sure to entice with the addition of escargot fragranced with Brunello de Montalcino brown sauce. For a combination of earthy flavours that will tantalize your tastebuds, the Fettucine “La Bussola” sees fresh handmade tagliatelle doused in an earthy portobello sauce and laced with pesto and truffle.
Meatier options also include Roasted Snow Fish served with green pea puree and lumpfish roe and not to be missed is the Chicken “À la Fricassée” with spring chicken cooked in creamy porcini mushroom sauce with golden and red beetroot.
If you prefer red meats, the Guanciale di Manzo (additional $10) is also a crowd pleaser with slow-cooked beef cheek in a spicy green sauce, dressed with red and yellow capsicum.
The desserts here will also steal the show with sweets that come in equally delectable options like Tortino alle Mele e Vaniglia, a melt-in-your-mouth apple crumble tart with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.
Chocolate lovers should not miss the Gianduiotto al Fior di Latte that marries milk chocolate Gianduiotto with Amarena cherries and milk cream sauce or get the Sharon’s Granita of sweet lychee granita, Prosecco jelly, and Roselle syrup that is pretty on the eyes and delicious at the same time.
Wine and dine in true Italian manner by pairing a comprehensive list of Italian wines, ranging from white and red to sparkling and prosecco. A select choice of house pours can be tasted by glass (125ml), half bottle (375ml) or full bottle (750ml) starting from only $14.90.
