Are you torn between steak, sushi, or lobster? The answer to this is simple. Take the buffet train and eat as much as you want. We’ve compiled a list of Singapore’s greatest buffets so you can enjoy a substantial lunch or dinner to get rid of the stress and headache.

The Line

With over 88 made-to-order meals, it’s not surprising that The Line has a regular visiting fan base. The menu features cuisines from all across the world, including Lebanese, Italian, Thai, and Singaporean. Satay chicken and beef, seafood pad Thai, beef kebab, Wagyu beef Bolognese, Angus sirloin, and black pepper crab are just a few of the delicacies on the menu. There is also large selection of pastries and treats, to allow to end your meal on a sweet note.

Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant

Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant, with over 200 Japanese buffet delicacies, is our one-way ticket to Japan in the midst of the Covid-19 virus. Satisfy your appetite for fresh sashimi or Yakitori skewers while sitting outside against the background of Orchard Road. Aside from traditional Japanese cooking, fusion Japanese-Western dishes such as Salmon Pizza and Pasta with Wafu Sauce are available. Finish your dinner with sweets like mochi and tofu cheesecakes, which are ideal if you have children with a sweet tooth. Orchard Central’s strategic location also means you can walk off your food coma with some retail therapy afterwards.

Location: 181 Orchard Rd, 08 – 01 / 02 / 03, Singapore 238896

Opening Hours: 11.30am-2.30pm, 6.30pm-9.30pm (Mon – Sun)

Adult Lunch (From $23.80++) | Adult Dinner (From $35.80++)

Sun’s Café

The buffet scene is already overflowing with fresh seafood and BBQ alternatives, being able to enjoy something like Nyonya food at will may be a breath of fresh air especially if you have family and friends who can’t get enough of a steaming bowl of laksa. Sun’s Cafe serves popular dishes such as Babi Pongteh (braised pork with soy bean paste and gula melaka) and Kuih Pie Tee (a pastry filled with a mixture of veggies and prawns). More popular dishes like Curry Chicken and Oyster Mee Sua are also available if you are not the adventurous type.

Location: 101 Victoria St, Hotel Grand Pacific, Singapore 188018

Opening Hours: 12.00pm-2.30pm, 6.30pm-10.00pm (Mon – Sun)

Lunch (From $38++) | Dinner (From $45++)

Buffet Town

Buffet Town is a suitable name since, like a complete town, this halal-certified restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisines from which to choose. Make a beeline for their ice-cold seafood, which includes exquisite poached prawns and crayfish.  There even is a teppanyaki booth where chefs prepare your meal in front of you. You may also sample both local and international cuisines before heading to their dessert bar for crepes, mousse cakes, and even ice kachang. Make sure to call the kids at home as well, because Buffet Town has its own in-house playground. Buffet town really goes above and beyond when it comes to stretching their customers dollar.

Location: 252 North Bridge Road, #B1-44E, Raffles City Shopping Centre, 179103

Opening Hours: 11.30am-3.00pm, 6.00pm-10.00pm (Mon – Sun)

Adult Lunch (From $26.80++) | Adult Dinner (From $38.80++)

Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant

If you had the means, you could have taken your entire family to Bali this holiday. While pandemic-related travel boundaries remain closed, you may still treat them to all-you-can-eat Indonesian food at Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant, which is also housed in the Furama hotel. The Tahu Telur, an Indonesian tofu omelette, and the Sate Lilit Bali, which is minced fish skewers seasoned with lemongrass, are two dishes not to be missed. Favorites such as the delectable Mee Soto Ayam and Beef Rendang will also be available during every service, yum!

Location:  405 Havelock Rd, Level 3 Furama RiverFront, Singapore 169633

Opening Hours: 12.00pm-2.30pm, 6.00pm-10.30pm (Mon – Sun)

Lunch (From $33.80++) | Dinner (From $38.80++)

In light of the pandemic, self-service buffets have adopted the a la carte concept which is a win in my books. You get a fresh and pre portioned plate of food served to you without lifting a finger. Now that dining in is allowed again, grab a buddy and head down to these restaurants now!
