Are you a night owl and always looking for a nice place to chill? I know I am. My family and I would sometimes head out and look for places with chill vibes to hang out. Starbucks has always been the ultimate choice, but we do crave for other things instead of coffee and cakes.
Fortunately, now we have a new place to visit. Around Café has just recently opened its second outlet at Tampines and the place is fascinating.
Around Café New Outlet
The cafe is an ice cream café, offering a wide range of flavours. Its first outlet is located in Ang Mo Kio, offering a total of 12 flavours. Its new outlet is located at Tampines at The Alps Residence. Do not worry, the café is located on the right side of the condominium and is open to the public.
This new outlet is a beautiful glasshouse, equipped with 8 tables inside. Its exterior just makes the café looks simplistic yet sophisticated. The walls are also decorated with minimalist decorations, keeping it simple and clean.
Ice Cream
Around Café’s Tampines outlet offers 16 different flavours of ice cream. Some of which are their interesting and exclusive flavours like Peanut Butter & Blueberries, Cereal Milk and Yakult Oreo. The Yakult Oreo flavours sounds pretty delicious to me.
There are also other flavours such as Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Nutella and more. There are several ways to indulge in their delicious ice cream. You can get their ice cream by its own, enjoy your ice cream in a cone, have your scoops placed in a cup topped with a cone, or pair it with their waffles ($7.90).
If you are living in the North, their Ang Mo Kio outlets offers other premium flavours such as Cookie Monster, Lychee Yogurt, Avocado Chocolate and more. Their ice cream are priced at $4.20 per scoop, $8.00 for two scoops and additional $1.00 for premium flavours (cone or cup).
Other Menu Items
Apart from their ice cream and waffles, they also offer other menu items such as cakes ($7.90), cookies ($4.90) and Acai bowls ($9.90). Coffee lovers can also get a taste of their coffee drinks such as Long Black ($3.90), Latte ($4.90) and Caramel or Hazelnut Latte ($5.50).
If you are not a huge fan of coffee, you can opt for other beverages such as Mocktails ($6.90), Bubble Tea ($3.90 – $5.90), Assorted Tea ($7.90 – $8.90), or Fruit Latte ($7.90) as well.
