If you believe our sunny island’s water activities are restricted to water theme parks like Adventure Cove and Wild Wild Wet, you’re wrong. Singapore has a wide range of reasonably priced water activities such as wakeboarding and windsurfing. With Singapore’s tropical environment, and its year-round summer feel, our home is a fantastic place to soak up some sun, sand, and surf.

  • Wild Wild Wet

If you still prefer theme parks, we will definitely indulge you. Wild Wild Wet is one of Singapore’s largest water theme parks, offering a diverse range of rides and attractions sure to excite adrenaline addicts and their families. The park, which first opened in 2004, has now been nearly doubled in size.

There are rides and attractions for both adults and children, but we recommend trying the waters at Ular-Lah, Southeast Asia’s first raft slide and a tremendous flume experience that will test your bravery. Parents with younger children should be aware that some rides have height safety requirements.

  • Wakeboarding

Wakeboarding at Singapore Wake Park can take your passion for water sports to new heights. Two basic courses and one intermediate, full-sized course for experienced thrill-seekers are available at the park. Riders with more experience can take on the park’s more difficult obstacles, such as novice boxes, kickers, elbow kink pipes, and various rails.

  • Kayaking

Singapore Sports Hub, which is located next to the Kallang Basin, blends world-class sporting infrastructure with community lifestyle and entertainment facilities. Beginners and youngsters should enroll in a kayak orientation program, while more experienced canoers and kayakers can try their hand at more advanced classes such as the Kayak 2 Star Personal Skill Award. Canoes and kayaks are also available for rent at the Water Sports Centre if you prefer an unguided experience. More information if you are interested can be found here!

  • Standboarding

Enjoy a workout while enjoying the lovely breezes and gently rolling of the waves at Siloso Beach with this fitness buster that keeps you active by paddling standing up. If standboarding isn’t your thing, Ola beach club also offers Kayaking or even a Lazarus Island Tour! Learn more about standboarding here!

The calm waters of Singapore are ideal for beginners learning the basics of kayaking or even canoeing. Adrenaline junkies can get their dose by wakeboarding and feel the wind or take a step back and relax. With so much to offer on our sunny island, pick up a new hobby this weekend!
