Parents looking to add a little wildlife discovery to mealtime can check out a new year-long collaboration between KFC Singapore and Mandai X.
Starting 1 October 2026, KFC restaurants around Singapore will be transformed into Ranger Buddies “outposts”, with children able to collect wildlife cards, take part in digital missions and learn more about animals through KFC’s Lil’ Bucket Meals.
The KFC x Ranger Buddies collaboration runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, coinciding with Children’s Day celebrations and the first birthday of KFC’s Lil’ Bucket.
Get free Ranger Buddies collectible cards with Lil’ Bucket Meals
One of the main highlights is the limited-edition KFC x Ranger Buddies Collectible Card Pack, which will be available free with every Lil’ Bucket Meal or Lil’ Bucket Family Meal from 1 October 2026, while stocks last.
Each month will introduce five unique collectible cards featuring Ranger Buddies Al and Min, their C.O.U.R.A.G.E. animal companions and different animals.
Beyond collecting the cards, children can learn about the animals’ abilities as well as environmental challenges affecting wildlife.
Each pack also includes a KFC x Ranger Buddies mission card, which unlocks monthly digital adventures through the Ranger Buddies app.
The collaboration is set to run for a full year, giving families new cards and missions to discover along the way.
Complete digital wildlife missions and earn rewards
The experience continues beyond the KFC restaurant through a series of digital missions designed around wildlife and environmental themes.
The first mission, Creatures of the Deep, introduces children to deep-sea animals and explores the roles these creatures play in maintaining healthy ocean ecosystems.
Future adventures include “Bring Harmony Back with Sally”, which explores living in harmony with nature, and the festive “Get Ready for Christmas with Arlo”, focusing on how climate change is affecting Antarctica.
Families can get started by scanning the QR code on a Lil’ Bucket or mission card and creating a Ranger Buddies account.
After completing a mission, children can spin a digital wheel for a chance to receive rewards. Rewards include KFC treats as well as tickets to indoor attractions and selected wildlife parks at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
KFC outlets become Ranger Buddies outposts
During the campaign, KFC outlets islandwide, excluding Singapore Polytechnic, will feature Ranger Buddies elements designed to make the wildlife theme part of the dining experience.
These include specially designed tray liners, customised Ranger Buddies Lil’ Buckets and table stickers.
The tray liners feature Al and Min alongside animal facts that families can explore together, while QR codes provide access to more Ranger Buddies content.
Explore the Ranger Buddies Tree House in KFC’s Lil’ Bucket World
Families can also continue exploring through KFC Lil’ Bucket World, a dedicated section within the KFC app featuring games, rewards and children’s content.
Within Lil’ Bucket World is the Ranger Buddies Tree House, where children can learn more about Al and Min and the C.O.U.R.A.G.E. animal buddies.
The digital area also features animated shorts, educational animal facts and information on KFC Ranger Buddies outposts around Singapore.
Lil’ Bucket World additionally includes the Lil’ Playhouse, which offers educational games, as well as Lil’ Celebrations for KFC party bookings.
Limited-edition Ranger Buddies Card Binder available at KFC Kallang
Families planning to collect the cards throughout the campaign can also pick up a dedicated binder.
The limited-edition KFC x Ranger Buddies Card Binder costs $29.90 and will be available exclusively at KFC Kallang and KFC’s online merchandise store from 1 October 2026.
The binder is designed for children to store and display their KFC x Ranger Buddies collectible cards.
KFC Lil’ Bucket Meal prices
The Ranger Buddies collectible packs are included with eligible Lil’ Bucket Meals while stocks last.
Individual options listed by KFC include the Lil’ Chicken Macaroni Soup Meal at $5.45, Lil’ Eggy Twister Meal at $5.45, Lil’ Chicken Meal at $5.95, Lil’ Tenders Twister Meal at $5.95 and Lil’ Tenders Meal at $5.95.
Family options include a breakfast Lil’ Bucket Family Meal at $16.95 and a Lil’ Bucket Family Meal at $20.95.
The Lil’ Bucket offerings are available for dine-in and takeaway at KFC outlets except Singapore Polytechnic, while stocks last. They are also available for delivery through GrabFood, foodpanda and KFC Delivery.
A year of new wildlife discoveries
Developed by Mandai X, the growth accelerator and venture-building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group, Ranger Buddies uses storytelling, games and real-world experiences to introduce children to wildlife and encourage curiosity about the world around them.
The KFC collaboration brings that concept into a familiar family mealtime setting, with new cards and missions providing children with opportunities to keep discovering different animals throughout the year.
For parents, it also means the collectible isn’t simply something to bring home, the accompanying digital missions add an educational activity children can continue after their meal.

If your child wants to build a collection, keep the mission cards as well as the wildlife cards, as the mission cards provide access to the monthly digital adventures. With five unique collectible cards introduced each month, families collecting across the year may also want to keep track of which cards they already have before their next visit.
