A beautiful first for Soup Restaurant. This Mid-Autumn, the brand unveils its handmade traditional baked mooncakes wrapped in an elegant, reusable scarf illustrated in the unique JunLe Font by local talent Lee Jun Le. The collection is available 1–30 September 2025, with a 20% early-bird discount from 1–14 September. Prices start from $16 per piece.

Key Highlights

  • First-ever Soup Restaurant mooncakes in Singapore.

  • Meaningful design: scarf and tins illustrated by Lee Jun Le, a homegrown artist who developed his signature JunLe Font.

  • Three classic flavours: Plain White Lotus (with melon seeds), White Lotus Single Yolk, and White Lotus Double Yolk.

  • Great value: from $16 per piece; $32 (two-piece box) and $64 (four-piece box with scarf); mix-and-match allowed.

  • Early bird 20% off from 1–14 Sep 2025.

  • Gifting with purpose: supports local arts and inclusivity.

A First for Soup Restaurant

Soup Restaurant launches traditional, handmade baked mooncakes for the very first time. The tins carry a modern heritage vibe, while the recipes focus on premium lotus paste and golden salted egg yolks. Availability runs from 1 to 30 September 2025. Early birds enjoy 20% off from 1 to 14 September. Perfect for family gatherings, corporate gifts, and festive sharing.

Elegant Scarf With Meaning

Each four-piece box includes a stylish scarf that can be repurposed. The scarf and tins feature artwork and calligraphy by Lee Jun Le, a local artist diagnosed with autism at age 3 who created his own JunLe Font. His cheerful Mid-Autumn motifs—smiling moon, flowers, and a cute bunny—echo the saying “花好月圆” (blooming flowers, full moon).
Gifting these mooncakes celebrates unity, harmony, and inclusivity. It’s a heartfelt nod to Soup Restaurant’s ongoing support for special-needs talents.

A Trio of Timeless Flavours

  • Plain White Lotus with Melon Seed – For purists. Less sweet, smooth and nutty thanks to premium lotus seeds, with crunchy melon seeds in every bite.

  • White Lotus Single Yolk – Handmade from scratch with meticulously selected salted eggs for that custardy, savoury aroma. Balanced with lotus paste and melon seed crunch.

  • White Lotus Double Yolk – Double the yolk, double the joy. Rich, savoury yolks meet silky lotus paste and nutty melon seeds for a classic, indulgent finish.

Social Impact & Past Collaboration

Earlier this year, Soup Restaurant gifted diners Jun Le’s handwritten “幸福圆满” red packets with retail purchases. The mooncake project continues this mission—gifting with purpose and spotlighting homegrown creativity.
