Warabimochi Kamakura is bringing an exciting twist to a beloved Japanese dessert this SG60. The popular brand teams up with MILO® to introduce the first-ever Golden Cocoa Warabimochi. This limited-edition treat combines the silky Japanese snack with a flavour every Singaporean loves.

A Unique Dessert for Singapore’s 60th Birthday

Since opening its first outlet in One Holland Village in 2024, Warabimochi Kamakura has quickly become famous for its silky warabimochi. Each soft, chewy piece is made from bracken starch and enhanced by their special recipe.

To celebrate SG60 and MILO®’s 75th Anniversary, this viral dessert gets a nostalgic makeover. The Golden Cocoa Warabimochi features generous coatings of rich, malt-chocolate MILO® powder. It’s then topped with crunchy NESTUM cereal and a sprinkle of shimmering golden dust, symbolizing Singapore’s diamond jubilee.

Where and When to Get Your Golden Cocoa Warabimochi

The special Golden Cocoa Warabimochi will be available only from 4 to 31 August 2025 at all five Warabimochi Kamakura outlets islandwide. Prices are affordable, with a box of 5 pieces for $9.90 and 10 pieces for $16.90.

Chief Marketing Officer Dixon Lim shared, “This dessert brings back childhood memories in a completely new way. It perfectly blends traditional Japanese dessert with local Singaporean flavours, just in time for SG60.”
