Craving an authentic hotpot experience? Shuai Jiang Jun has arrived in Singapore, bringing with it bold and spicy flavours from Chongqing, China. The famed hotpot restaurant opens its first Singapore outlet at Tiong Bahru Plaza, continuing a culinary tradition that spans over 40 years.

A Legacy of Spicy Excellence

Originating from Chongqing’s historic Ciqikou district, Shuai Jiang Jun’s recipes date back to the 1980s. This beloved hotpot spot is famous for its fiery broths and fresh, premium ingredients. Now, Singaporeans can enjoy the legendary taste without leaving the island.

Delicious Hotpot Soup Bases

At Shuai Jiang Jun, diners choose from six flavourful broths. A must-try is the General’s Inferno Spicy Beef Tallow Pot ($7), made from a secret 40-year-old recipe. It’s rich, spicy, and packed with authentic Chongqing flavour.

If you prefer something lighter yet equally tasty, try the General’s Fish Maw & Chicken Pot ($11). Prepared with over 25 spices and simmered for more than six hours, this nourishing broth is rich in collagen and protein.

Signature Dishes to Delight

Meat lovers can indulge in signature items like the beautifully presented General Axe Cut Beef ($30) and the melt-in-your-mouth Signature Snowflake Wagyu Beef ($40). Don’t miss the spicy kick from the Double Pepper Beef ($18), topped generously with red and green chillies.

For adventurous eaters, Shuai Jiang Jun offers the bold flavours of Tender Chicken Gizzard ($12), Sichuan Style Spicy Ribs ($16), and Sichuan Style Spicy Beef ($16). These dishes are generously coated with their signature spice blend—fiery, aromatic, and utterly addictive.

Seafood fans will love the visually stunning Golden Defender Pomfret ($33) and the premium Seafood Masterpiece featuring Tiger Grouper ($100). Also recommended is the hand-chopped General’s Shrimp Paste ($24), celebrated for its bouncy texture.

Grand Opening Promotion

Celebrate the grand opening with 50% off all food items throughout May (excluding soup bases, beverages, and condiments). Highlights include the Signature Snowflake Wagyu Beef for just $20, usually priced at $40.
