Meet Your Match With These Matcha Recommendations

Looking for a matcha fix? I’ve tried out a bunch of matcha places, and as someone who adores matcha, I’m here to review them and help you find the perfect matcha spot! Here are some spots that matcha lovers should check out:

  • TSUJIRI

TSUJIRI is a famous matcha cafe that originated from Kyoto. Their Matcha Parfait lived up to its hype as the sweet matcha ice cream and mochi were delightful.

Their Matcha Crepe Cake didn’t quite showcase its layers, but the matcha flavour was still strong. As for their Matcha Pudding, it was spot on! However, their Matcha Latte didn’t quite hit the mark for me as I prefer my matcha on the sweeter side.

Visit https://www.tsujiri.sg/ to check out their full menu and outlets.

  • Maccha House

If you only have room for one dessert, the Matcha Tiramisu Parfait was absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing, striking a great balance between sweetness and matcha flavour.

The Maccha Tiramisu was not overly sweet, but the portion size was a bit small in my opinion. Their matcha drinks are authentically made and satisfying as well so make sure you order one to go with your dessert when you visit.

Overall, the prices are quite reasonable, making it a great choice for matcha lovers on a budget.

  • Cafe Usagi TOKYO

This is definitely one of my favorite matcha spots! I absolutely adore their Matcha Mochi Waffles; they’re such a unique twist on regular waffles and incredibly delicious.

Their Matcha Mochi Ice Cream is another winner—the soft outer layer, paired with yummy matcha ice cream and chewy mochi, is simply irresistible. As for their Matcha Latte, it’s not very sweet but has that earthy matcha taste that I love.

Visit them at Suntec City (#02-615A) or 111 Somerset (#01-42) to try it out for yourself today!

  • Nana’s Green Tea

I stumbled upon Nana’s Green Tea by accident and it gave me a pleasant surprise! The Matcha Chocolate Cake they serve is the perfect fusion of flavours, combining the best of both worlds.

Their Matcha Soft Serve is a delightful snack option, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even try it with warabimochi for an extra kick!
