Typhoon Cafe has launched a new menu featuring authentic Taiwanese dishes at lower prices, making it more affordable for you to enjoy the taste of Taiwan. Look forward to dishes like their Momofuku Buns to Taiwanese Shrimp Fried Rice and Signature Taiwanese Oyster Mee Sua with pricings starting from $6.90 when you visit.

Start by trying their Momofuku Buns ($6.90), available in three flavours: Mei Cai, Mala Pork Belly, and Lu Rou. I’m personally a fan of the Mala Pork Belly flavour, which features peppercorns, chili oil and spices for a truly delightful taste.

Of course, no Taiwanese meal is complete without Taiwan Lu Rou Rice ($9.90), featuring authentic braised pork belly over steamed rice. Alternatively, you can choose Taiwan Lu Rou Mian (Dry) ($9.90), which offers the same delicious braised pork belly served with noodles instead.

The next main dish is my favourite: Szechuan Mala Tossed Knife-cut Noodles with Braised Beef (Dry) ($12.90). The beef is incredibly tender, and while the spicy mala sauce packs quite a punch, it’s worth trying if you can handle the heat.

Other options include Taiwanese Shrimp Fried Rice with Crabmeat Gravy ($12.90), and kid-friendly meals like the Egg Fried Rice Set ($9.90) and La Mian Set ($9.90).

For desserts, their Soufflé Pancake ($16.90) is a must-try, featuring fluffy, light layers.

Choose from four flavours:

  • Signature Soufflé Stackers with Mixed Berries, Vanilla Crumble, and Honeycomb Ice Cream;
  • White Rabbit Soufflé Stackers with White Rabbit Milk Pudding and Vanilla Ice Cream;
  • Strawberry Soufflé Stackers with Strawberry, Vanilla Crumble, Berry Ice Cream, Raspberry Coulis, and Cream Sauce; OR
  • BBT Soufflé Stackers with Taiwan Milk Tea, Bubbles, and Vanilla Ice Cream (Plaza Singapura only)

Typhoon Cafe’s outlets are conveniently available at Plaza Singapura (#04-63/67), Bugis+ (#04-08), Kallang Wave Mall (#01-35) and i12 Katong (#B1-10/#B1-37) which is perfect for your next pick me up at any time of the day.
