Old Seng Choong, renowned for its renditions of traditional classics, pays homage to popular and auspicious dishes traditionally enjoyed during Chinese New Year. To amplify the festive spirit, Old Seng Choong introduces a new limited edition Mandarin Orange Pineapple Tart alongside the classic Original Pineapple Tart.

Shaped like pineapples and ingots, these buttery pastries are available in boxes of 12, satisfying cravings for this traditional delicacy.

Whether it’s the rich and chewy texture of Traditional Nian Gao and Traditional Red Date Cake or the savory fragrance of Traditional Carrot Cake and Traditional Yam Cake, these classic treats represent the ultimate comfort food to usher in the new year with abundance and good fortune.

Kueh Lapis, a traditional multi-layered cake symbolizing longevity, is moist, buttery, and divine to the palate. Additionally, the Prune Kueh Lapis offers a refreshing and tangy twist to the original version.

The layers, akin to the steps on a ladder associated with promotion and endless fortune, make it a popular choice during Chinese New Year celebrations.

Bak Kwa, a favorite at Chinese New Year gatherings, is a thinly sliced and seasoned jerky meat barbecued to a deep red color symbolizing good fortune and prosperity. Old Seng Choong’s Original Bak Kwa and Truffle Bak Kwa, grilled to perfection and individually vacuum-packed, are available in boxes of 480g.

The recently launched Old Seng Choong Bake-Off Concept stores feature over 15 traditional fresh bakes daily, creating a buzz in the foodie community. Fan-favourite pastries like Black Sesame with Mochi, Classic Yam with Iberico Ham, Black Truffle with Golden Egg Yolk, Red Lotus with Bak Kwa, Parma Ham with Shallot Oil and Premium Red Dates with Bird’s Nest are now available in pre-packed gift sets, perfect for celebrating with loved ones.

Enjoy a 20% early bird discount on pre-orders of Old Seng Choong Chinese New Year specials until 31 January 2024. For more information, visit https://www.oldsengchoong.com/
