Welcome the onset of cooler weather and earthier flavours with truffle season as IPPUDO unveils their new seasonal Tanrei Truffle Shio Ramen that is available for a limited time starting from 1st November 2023.
Savour this alongside a series of side dishes that will be permanently on the menu starting 8 November 2023 at all IPPUDO outlets, except for IPPUDO Marina Bay Sands and IPPUDO Express outlets.
The Tanrei Truffle Shio Ramen ($17.90) infuses IPPUDO’s house-made chicken clear soup with their Original Kaeshi Sauce, enriched with the essence of truffle salt and truffle oil.
The delightful dish also includes IPPUDO Chef Original Home Made Noodles accompanied by chicken chashu, bamboo shoot and many other ingredients to create an umami filled indulgence topped with aromatic truffle.
Add on additional sides like Cheese Chikuwa Isobe Age ($9.80) that features chikuwa fish cakes stuffed with cheese, fried into delicate tempura or the Gyu Motsu Miso Nikomi ($6.90) that pairs tender beef entrails with Saikyo white miso paste, carrots and konnyaku.
Other delights include the Satsuma Age ($7.40) which sees Japanese fried fish cakes adorned with Hijiki seaweed and benishoga red ginger for a punch or opt for the Spicy Tako Karaage ($10.20) that is served with creamy mayo.
For an elevated onigiri-style dish, try the Unagi Hand Roll ($15.80) that wraps succulent unagi with rice and a selection of toppings in a seaweed sheet.
Try it two ways – crunchy with wasabi bits and a slathering of mayo or sharp and pungent with arima sansho pepper for unique aromas and flavours.
To conclude the meal, the Japanese Kopi Jerry ($5.60) is a coffee mousse dessert that presents three distinct layers of bitter coffee jelly, creamy coffee mousse, and sweet condensed milk for a bittersweet perfect ending to the dining experience.
