Bringing a unique dining experience to the CBD at Suntec City, pay for the price of raw ingredients and enjoy a complete dining out evening without the hassle of cooking and cleaning up, all at true, fair value at True Cost.
All you have to do is pay an entrance fee to indulge in a plethora of quality food and drinks without the high mark-ups of the typical restaurant business model so you can enjoy a wide variety of starters, mains, sides, dessert, and drinks without worrying about busting your budget.
If the restaurant doesn’t mark up their prices for the food and drinks they serve to make things affordable for their customers, some might ask, what would they earn? This is why a one-time entrance fee is charged at the start of your meal. The amount varies depending on the time of day you visit.
ENTRANCE FEE

Kids aged 5 – 12 years old: $5 (free entry for kids below 5 years old)
Daily 3pm – 5pm: Free entrance (Guests dining past 6pm will have to pay cover charges)
Daily 9 – 10pm: Free entrance (For Drinks Only) | Kitchen closes at 9:30pm
After covering the cost of running the restaurant, the full menu of Eastern, Western and fusion dishes is yours to order. Start with an appetiser of Hummus with Kimchi Cucumber ($6.55), served with fluffy pita bread.
Thoroughly blended, the hummus is smooth while retaining a slight grainy texture that is contrasted and lifted in flavour by the punchy and tart kimchi cucumbers that deliver on its crunch factor.
For a creamier option, the Burrata with Dried Grapes and Mint Leaves ($12.95) is a bright and rich dish where the curds of mozzarella and cream comes together to pleasantly fill the palate.
Cutting through the fattiness is a grape sauce topped with mint leaves to bring a refreshing kick that is sweet with a lingering cool effect. Great as an appetizer on a hot day especially since the restaurant is located in the Sky Garden and surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows on all sides.
If you love fresh and raw seafood, taste the sweetness of the ocean with a tray of Fresh Oysters (6pcs $16.50; 12pcs $31.50), providing a textural adventure with creamy yet firm flesh accompanied by its sweet and citrusy finish.
The oysters we had were topped with flavoured pearls (additional $3) that were infused with truffle and white vinegar for a refreshing burst of extra flavour that added an additional depth to the dish.
For something that you usually suck with a straw while having Soup Tulang (beef bone soup), True Cost’s Bone Marrow with Chilli, Pita and Parmesan Mousse ($14.85) is a delightful starter for scooping and sharing.
Although we do have to note that it may be a little too greasy for some, we had no problem gobbling this up while the bread helped soaked up its delicious juices.
If you prefer something more down to earth, the earthiness of the Grilled Eggplant with Miso ($6.75) is veiled with a hint of smokiness and is an especially enticing dish with a savoury finish thanks to the miso paste.
Moving on to the mains, the Baked Cabbage with Gorgonzola Sauce and Walnuts ($7.95) sees the sweetness of cabbage being baked into prized savouriness with a gorgonzola blue cheese sauce and added with walnuts for a nutty crunch.
For the meat lovers, a simple fare of Grilled Chicken with Curry Corn ($9.85) is a fusion of east meets west with tender grilled chicken and sweet corn. With an interplay of spice and delicious flavours, add a touch of lime to enhance the overall dish.
Bolder flavours can be found with the Beef Cheek with Pea Puree ($12.95) made with beef cheek from Australia slow-cooked for hours rendering it fall-off-the-bone tender before being served atop a warm bed of mixed vegetable, pea puree.
The Boston Lobster with Creamy Curry Sauce ($39.95) on the other hand, is a decadent lobster dish given an Asian twist with a mildly spicy creamy curry sauce sure to satisfy all lobster cravings.
Pair those delicious dishes and make it a meal worth remembering with True Cost’s comprehensive list of premium wines, liquors and cocktails, promising something for everyone at unbeatable prices!
