Kids need to play, so it’s best to get them out of the house every now and again. Allowing the kids extra screen time to keep them occupied is a no-brainer, but it’s a slippery slope you don’t want to start down.
Instead of keeping them at home, take them to an indoor playground and let them loose. Join up for a day of craziness at one of these outdoor playgrounds, which include rock climbing, trampoline courts, and obstacle courses.
Marina Square’s Kiztopia is maybe the most spectacular of the bunch. Kiztopia, with its 18,000 square feet of play space and 18 separate play stations, promises nonstop fun. Expect high-rise play structures with spiral slides, trampolines, scalable rock walls, foam obstacle courses, and a ball pit moat with a parent-powered inflatable boat and banana boat.
Of course, it has all the extras, such a train that chugs around a track, a hinoki wood cube pit, virtual reality basketball, dress-up stations, and fictional play studios like a grocery store and a bakery. If your game session lasts until lunch or supper, you may grab a bite to eat at the Kith Cafe, which serves robust Western fare.

PLAY by Kinderplay, located in T3, is a new addition to Changi Airport’s kid-friendly activities. PLAY by Kinderplay, which has taken over the space previously occupied by SingKids Playsystem Teddy & Me, is a bigger and better Ben 10 and Powerpuff Girl wonderland.
Consider suspended clear tunnels and jungle gym obstacles, a moving carousel for babies, and even a Wipe Out-style obstacle arena with two sweeper arms for your kids to dodge. There is definitely enough things to do here to keep your kids entertained while you fulfil your wanderlust at the airport.

Kidz Amaze at SAFRA Jurong is another indoor playground gem. This indoor playground, which is likely to be Singapore’s highest jungle gym, has five magnificent levels designed in a conical shape with a hollow center that gives you a bird’s eye perspective of the activities on each level.
The Rainbow Maze, a scalable psychedelic rope cocoon device, and a dark area with glow-in-the-dark balls, evocative of the ArtScience Museum’s Future World installation, will also be available to your children.

To obtain a “aerial” experience, you don’t have to fly all the way to the far East. Airzone, Singapore’s first atrium net playground, is located in City Square Mall and is just as exciting. Airzone’s play area, which spans three stories and includes a suspended ball pit, massive bouncing balls, a 3D maze, and a slide that allows you to quickly depart the top, ups the ante. Beat your fear of heights and enjoy some exhilarating fun!
