Many cat enthusiasts can only dream of having a home full of felines. Nothing elevates our spirits higher than a feline-snuggling session at a cat café when life gets us down. Whether you’re wanting to adopt a cat or just need some cat love, stop by one of Singapore’s cat cafés.
1) The Cat Cafe
The Cat Cafe’s purpose is to provide a clean and safe atmosphere for guests to enjoy the company of cats, with the goal of eventually adopting the cats out to a forever home. To visit one of the cafes, make an online reservation and pay an entrance fee of $16 that includes two hours at the cafe and a complimentary soft drink.
Additional cost applies for longer hours, drink upgrades (to tea, coffee, or hot chocolate) and snacks (such as their delectable pastries). It’s the ideal spot to take the kids on a rainy day, especially if you don’t have pets at home!
The Cat Café Outlets:
- The Rail Mall – 392 Upper Bukit Timah Rd, Singapore 678046
- Bugis – 241B Victoria St, Singapore 188030
Opening Hours: 10am to 10pm (timings may differ per outlet)
2) Meomi Cat Café
Admission to Meomi Cat Café is $13 and includes an hour’s play and a choice of juice or tea. Pay $5 more for the extra time you will definitely need if you stay longer than an hour. Light snacks are also offered at the counter to fill your tummies. Children who visit must be 6 years old and above and supervised by an adult.
Do note that there are only low tables and floor seatings at this café so do dress comfortably before you visit! As a result, you’ll be closer to the cats and appear less threatening too. The café also has some photo props, such as “cat ears,” to help you remember your visit so check them out for some feline fun time.

All of the café cats are adopted, and for only $12, students can spend an hour at the café, which includes a complementary hot chocolate. Coffee and pastries are also available while you spend your time with these lovable and friendly cats.
If you need more time, you will be charged $5 for every 30 minutes beyond the first hour or get their three-hour special for $24 or a whole-day special for $32 instead! Do note that the café does not permit children under the age of 7 to enter for the safety of the cats and adult supervision is required for those aged 8-13.
