Tired from the scorching heat of our tiny island? Come and have some fun at Adventure Cove! Adventure Cove has Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster and is also situated right next to S.E.A. Aquarium. There are about 15 areas to check out and have fun. Time for me to tell you about my experience there.
There are lockers located at the entrance and they come in two sizes. It costs $10 to rent the smaller one and $20 for the larger lockers per day. Across the lockers there is the Dueling Racer Ride where you can race against friends! I won against my friend 3 – 2!
Continuing my adventure at Adventure Cove, there are many water slides such as Spiral Washout, where you get funnelled into a tube which includes lots of twisting and turning as you soar at incredible speeds before getting launched into the splash zone!
One of my favourite rides is The Adventure River also known as the lazy river. The best part is where all you need is a float to sit on and let the river do its work. Just idly floating and having a fun conversation with your friends or family can be very relaxing while the river sweeps you throughout the waterpark. Nothing beats a few runs around the lazy river and it is one of the best ways to spend your time while regaining some energy back for the next ride.
The Ray Bay is an attraction where you get to feel the velvety wings of Manta Rays. Pet these friendly rays when you visit, or you’ll regret not taking the chance to feed and interact with them. This is a unique up close and personal experience you should not miss out on.
Although the Adventure River is my favourite water ride, the most unique and coolest attraction has to go to Rainbow Reef. What is Rainbow Reef? It’s a very big pool filled with marine life such as beautiful corals and hundreds of fishes! Life vests and snorkel equipment are provided free of charge so take this chance to swim with the fishes without having to be out in the open seas.
A small disclaimer, currently you must wear a mask while queuing for the rides and due to the 1-meter safe distancing measures in place, sometimes a ride line can seem very long. But trust me and wait in line as it’ll be well worth it. Overall, my experience was amazing, and this place is a must visit with friends and love ones! There are many other rides and attractions waiting for you at Adventure Cove so experience it yourself this weekend!
