It sure hasn’t been an easy time for the health and fitness industry as we navigate through the challenges this pandemic has thrown at us! Enter VIBE Yoga, the studio which resembles an intimate club room located on the top floor of a row of retro-looking shophouses along North Canal Road, right between Clarke Quay and Raffles Place.
Step into the world of VIBE and you are greeted by a hot pink-neon signage at the door. That’s when you know you are in for something real! Within the jet black walls of the cosy studio, the mood is set in tandem with the beautifully hued seating & reception area, as you get ready for your workout to begin.
Stepping into the practice room, you find yourself easing into the comfortable space of mood lighting and full-length mirrors to check out your alignment when class is in session. The instructor is standing by on stage with curated playlists and high energy, raring to deliver your workouts with maximum hype!
At VIBE Yoga, they believe in a state of balance. On days when you wish to push yourself to your limits, get your fix in their YOGA x HIIT classes (link here: https://vibeyogasingapore.com/#classes).
Each session consists of 20mins of yoga flow for warm up followed by 20mins of HIIT workouts and 10mins of cool down. VIBE’s YOGA X HIIT workouts are aptly named to reflect the theme of the class – Core Crunch (core workout), Double Trouble (arms & legs focused), Run Baby Run (cardio burn).
Within the enclave of the club-like studio, the low light space + high energy vibes gives you freedom to express yourself in your practice without feeling inhibited! Great for those who usually feel extra self-conscious in the brightly lit spaces of other practice spaces.
On the other end of the spectrum, VIBE also provides the core of their studio practice – YOGA classes (link here: https://vibeyogasingapore.com/#yoga). On days where you wish to find comfort in grounding your feet and reconnecting with your breath, Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yang classes are there for you.
Specialised yoga classes, led by lead teacher and lady boss Sandy, are also available for those who seek to take their practice to another level. Backbends Flow are held every Wednesday evening and Inversion & Arm Balance workshop-styled class on Saturday afternoons.
Whilst the premises and its amenities are kept simple and fuss free, the space is highly functional with its vibrant teaching team ever ready to share their practice and join in the workouts with their students. Together, teachers and students form a dynamic tribe, nurturing and growing into a happy group of practitioners. VIBE Yoga goes beyond operating as a studio for you to burn your calories – it is about community and sharing the good vibes with one another.
Classes offered on schedule consists of IN-STUDIO or VIRTUAL options with first-timer trial classes available at 2 sessions for $30 (in-studio) or $8 for your first virtual session. Be it pushing past your comfort zones or finding intention in your practice, VIBE’s doors are always open. All you have to do is to simply show up on the mat!

There are bus stops located 5 mins walk away from the studio and they are a 2 mins walk away from Clarke Quay MRT Exit A (Hong Lim Park)! Raffles Place MRT on the other hand is about 8 mins walk away. If you are driving, limited street side parking is available around Boat Quay / Hong Kong Street / beside Kreta Ayer Police Post. Please factor in enough time for parking and walking to studio to avoid being late for class. See you there!
