Get a taste of Japan as Shizuoka Prefecture will be collaborating with Singapore Home Cooks to bring in specialities made with natural resources found in Fuji and Izu Peninsula! Available only on 1 November 2021 (8pm), the array of sake, snacks, sweets, green tea and wine makes the perfect companion for your relaxation time at home.
As the most iconic mountain in Japan with an altitude of 3,776 metres, Mount Fuji attracts hordes of tourists from all around the world. The pure and smooth water from its melting snow is used for Shizuoka’s fresh prefectural products as well as sake.
Just as mesmerising is the Izu Peninsula, a UNESCO World Geopark filled with many natural wonders. It is a place where the mountains are steep and still inaccessible, and where the water is clear, fresh and abounding with fish.
Although travel to Japan is still not possible at the moment, bringing Singaporeans a little closer Mount Fuji is the Junmai Ginjo Fujisan Gold Box produced by the 278-year-old Makino Brewery Sake, who uses the soft water from Mount Fuji to produce a gentle sake with a hint of sweetness.
