Recently announced was the release of the 29th film in the Crayon Shin-Chan franchise, Crayon Shin-Chan the Movie: School Mystery! The Splendid Tenkasu Academy. Along with the film being available islandwide at all Golden Village cinemas, there will also be several Crayon Shin-Chan themed collaborations and activities to look forward to. About The Movie
Shinnosuke (Shin-Chan) and his companions are assigned to the “defence force” of Tenkatitsu Kasukabe Private Academy (nicknamed “Tenkasu”), an elite boarding school run by a cutting-edge AI. When Kazama gets assaulted, has his IQ diminished, and gets an odd bite mark on his buttocks, the mood shifts. The Kasukabe defensive force joins up with Chishio Atsuki, the school’s student council president, to establish a team of investigators to solve the mystery.
Having Wataru Takahashi return as director after having worked on several Crayon Shin-Chan, teaming with Kimiko Ueno, you can expect a film that is more well-made than the last. With the silly antics of Shin-Chan throughout the film along with themes like growing up and disagreements in friendships, it is sure to be enjoyable for the entire family.
If you can’t wait, the Fans’ Screening of Crayon Shin-Chan the Movie falls on the 4th of September 2021, with tickets going on sale at Golden Village Cinemas from 26th of August.
