If You Chose #1
For the month of August, there will be unexpected changes that will divert or interrupt your plans. It will be rather frustrating as delay or losses will occur. As a result, unpleasant feelings will stem out for these events. In serious cases, your self-esteem will suffer some blow and you might experience emotional breakdown and turmoil. It is important to note that The Universe is handing out pop quizzes to test your ability and train you to be better in achieving your greatest potential.
Hence, the theme of the month is to find ways to navigate away from these negative emotions and accept that setbacks are part and parcel of life. The cards suggest to stay away from new ventures but to focus on passivity. The good news is that your unconsciousness ability will heighten up to allow your inner voice and psychic vision to speak through. You might want to keep a little notebook by your bedside to jot down those vivid dreams and voices you hear.
If You Chose #2
For the month of August, you will be in the position of strength to provide assistance to others. There will be instance of people coming to you, in work or personal settings to confide to you with their issues and seeking your advice. Such instances could make you feel burdened as you are still cooped up with your own day to day activities. The cards will like to propose an alternative view to the matter; having the capacity to provide for others is a good indicator that you are doing well and is a form of success.
Of course, the cards is not saying that you should help blindly. Instead, choose critically and logically who and when to give a helping hand. In addition, this month will serve as a good time for you to kickstart any small projects you have as you will be filled with passion and zest to gain traction on the work to come. You can also consider engaging in some aerobic exercises or even kickboxing to expend those additional kinetic energy. Finally, the theme of the month is to be active and get moving!
If You Chose #3
For the month of August, you will be one of the busiest people within your circle of friends. There will be social activities, parties invites (virtually), phone calls that you will have to attend. Hence, it is definitely the perfect time to start mingling and build your network or tribe. For some of you, this might be uncomfortable and overwhelming at the beginning but trust me, it will open new doors and show you possibilities you never imagine.
The good news is that you are in the position to choose who and what area you want to mingle and establish connection in. Therefore, strategize well and plan for your public and personal aspects of life. You might want to start to look into starting a new side business or new hobbies. There are unlimited opportunities out there for you to choose and try out, the only question is are you ready to make the first step and have the courage to explore the world? The theme of the month is to have the faith in experimenting novelties and be proactive in what you want.
About The Deck
The Hybrid Tarot is the first brainchild of YuJin Leong and Justin Saw and beautifully illustrated by Wendy Yu. This is a 43-card deck that is themed on combining the Tarot and Lenormand systems in a cohesive fashion. The deck is further brought to life with each card dedicated to a deity, ascended master, angel, and/or elemental guardian, whose story inspires the illustrations.
The principal design concept of this deck is giving both the symbols of Tarot and Lenormand equal emphasis in the card’s overall look, feel, and narrative. The Lenormand has 36 standard cards and recent authors provided 2 LGBTQ cards and up to 4 additional meaning cards. These 42 Lenormand symbols are placed on the Tarot’s Major Arcana and Court cards and there is also a bonus card in the deck and Easter egg references to Astrology.
