Mozzarella Sticks
Image Credits: The mom 100We all can agree that the classic party snack is mozzarella sticks. What’s not to love about them? They’re hot, crispy, and gushing with molten cheese. There’s no greater snack than mozzarella sticks dipped in marinara sauce (since I already have it from the chicken parmesan recipe).

- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Kosher salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 large eggs, well-beaten
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Warm marinara sauce
Method:
- After cutting a block of mozzarella cheese into strips, freeze mozzarella sticks until its solid (you don’t want it melting apart in the fryer), or for at least 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, set up a breading station: Place breadcrumbs, eggs, and flour in 3 separate shallow bowls. Season breadcrumbs generously with salt and pepper.
- Coat frozen mozzarella sticks in flour, then dip in egg, then panko, back into the egg, then back in the breadcrumbs.
- Arrange frozen breaded mozzarella sticks in an even layer in the basket of your air fryer. Cook on 400F or 200C for 6 minutes, or until golden and crisp on the outside and melty in the centre.
- Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Cinnamon Rolls
If making fresh cinnamon buns on a Sunday morning seems like too much effort, we’ve got the ideal solution for you. With these quick air fryer cinnamon rolls, there’s no need to wait for the dough to rise. To keep things as easy as possible without sacrificing flavour, we are using crescent dough.
Ingredients:
FOR THE ROLLS
- 2 tbsp melted butter, plus more for brushing
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Kosher salt
- All-purpose flour, for surface
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
FOR THE GLAZE
- 4 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp whole milk

- Make rolls: Line bottom of air fryer with baking paper and brush with butter. In a bowl, add butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a large pinch of salt and mix until it’s smooth and fluffy.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out crescent rolls in one piece. Pinch seams together and fold in half. Roll into a 9 inch by 7 inch rectangle. Slatter butter mixture over dough, leaving ¼ inch border. Starting at a long edge, roll up dough and cut crosswise into 6 pieces.
- Arrange pieces in prepared air fryer, cut side up, spaced evenly.
- Set air fryer to 350°, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Make the glaze: In a medium bowl, Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk together. Add more milk by the teaspoonful, if necessary, to thin glaze.
