I started my 30 Day Challenge to walk 10000 steps a day from 1st May 2021. So how did Day 8 to 14 went? Let’s take a quick look.
The week started off well and I managed to clock at least 10000 steps a day for the first 5 days. Unfortunately, I fell sick on on Day 13 and 14. I still tried, but fell short still on my daily number of steps. I thought its better to rest and recover than to push myself in the current pandemic. Remember to rest to fight another day!
Last Week Challenges:
Let’s look at some of the challenges I had last week and how I managed to address them.
Walking back from office and taking late night walks are starting to become a norm for me, so it’s easier to clock them nowadays. That doesn’t change the fact that I still need an extra 15 – 60 mins every day to clock the required number of steps. I just feel less resistance to do so.
As for food, I try to watch them when I can as much as possible. And it seems that the weight fluctuation is lesser than Week One’s. My weight looks more consistent in Week Two without any heavy eating. My average weight is about 200g lesser than week one, not a lot to boast about actually. Hahaha.
What’s Next for Day 15 – 21?
Despite falling sick over the last few days, I still think I’m on track to completing the 30 day challenge. Week Two seems easier to manage now. I am hoping to push it a little further by increasing my steps in Week Three and see a more significant weight loss if possible! With the current pandemic situation and everyone working from home by default, I’m expecting higher traffic over the weekends at nature parks during the coming weeks so everyone stay safe and observe a healthy distance of at least 1m apart!
In the meantime, check out these things you can do during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) here!
