Breakfast is, without a doubt, the most important meal of the day, but the bread and butter at home doesn’t always make the cut. If you’re not sure where to get a great breakfast in Singapore, don’t worry, we’ve compiled a list for you right here. Be it traditional Singaporean breakfast you’re craving or a western affair, we have compiled an all-inclusive list for you.

With 53 years of operating, it comes at no surprise that the food here is tasty. with dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Fried Beehoon, and Curry Rice. Their economical fried bee hoon, or anything else on the menu must be matched with their freshly prepared chilli, for an experience that far surpasses the bottled stuff. The classic Singaporean dishes are made interesting at this store by combining ingredients such as McSpicy-inspired chicken cutlet, otah, fried chicken wings, and more to bring about new combinations.

Brawn & Brains is one of the nicer places to have breakfast in Singapore given the tranquillity of the establishment. The Oven Baked Molten Eggs is a dish that consists of a platter of gooey eggs on a tortilla, a big helping of avocado, smoked salmon, and fresh veggies. Because the portions are rather enormous, it’s best to order with a group of friends or family. Get the Good Ol’ Pancakes if you want something a little sweeter. The pancakes are not as dense as others you might get as such, you can cram a lot of them in your tummy without feeling stuffed. The house made jam, kaya, butter, and maple syrup are among the must get accompaniment for your order. Their coffee is also fantastic!

Chwee Kuey may appear to be a basic and straightforward food, but you haven’t had truly excellent Chwee Kuey until you’ve had Ghim Moh Chwee Kuey. The stall has been there for over 60 years and is still going strong. It’s a tribute to the great morning fare that is available at the hawker centre. The softness of the Chwee Kuey (steamed rice cakes) is enhanced by the saltiness of the preserved radish. If it’s still to boring and lacks a kick to start your morning, just pile up some of their delicious chilli to elevate the dish.

Opening Hours: 6.15am-6.30pm (Mon – Sun) | WhyQ

Breakfast can be a chore sometimes but I’m sure the eateries on this list is everything else but that. The next Sunday morning when you are craving a hearty breakfast with your loved ones, skip the cereal and head down to any one of these places to have a truly great breakfast.
