Good food is best eaten with large company and we are constantly drawn to restaurants and food establishments that allow us to do both. BBQ restaurants provide these, allowing them to expand and dominate the Asian cuisine scene, especially in Singapore.

We couldn’t get enough of them because they managed to stand out from the crowd with their superb meat pieces grilled in front of our eyes in an instant. So here are some Korean BBQ places you can check out this weekend.

1) Guiga

Guiga’s meat and raw crab are both of exceptional quality. Guiga’s raw crab and pork slices, which were meticulously marinated with their secret soy recipe, quickly became popular among other Korean BBQ restaurants. Furthermore, their popular and affordable lunch box includes your choice of kimchi stew or bean stew, rice, and side dishes. Do expect to pay an average of $48 per pax or check out their menu here!

Address: 134 Tg Pagar Rd, Singapore 088538

Opening Hours: Mon to Fri (11am – 3pm, 5pm – 11pm) | Sat to Sun (11am – 3pm)

2) Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ

Using a hot charcoal grill, Wang Dae Bak enriches each customer’s experience. As a result, this is perhaps the greatest and most pleasant beef flavour. In addition, the charcoal-grilled Wang Dae Bak meat pieces go well with the restaurant’s other trademark dishes on their menu, like as shrimp pancakes, beef stew, kimchi, Japchae, and bibimbap. Average price per pax is around $29 making it a great Friday night dinner spot after work has ended.

Wang Dae Bak Outlets:

  • 22 Cross St, #01-64, Singapore 048421
  • 93 Amoy St, Singapore 069913

Opening Hours: 11.30am -2.30pm & 5.30pm – 10.30pm Daily

3) Super Star K

On Tanjong Pagar Road, Super Star K is a no-fuss Korean BBQ restaurant. Because it only offers an a-la-carte menu, the lines are frequently shorter than at buffet restaurants. Each table has its own grill and exhaust pipe in the middle. After the culinary team has cooked it to perfection, you may enjoy your BBQ, which includes black pepper pork neck, seasoned chicken, and bulgogi. So, if you don’t feel like cooking, this is the spot for you. We spent about $45 per person at this place but the added service was a bonus and worth it.

Address: 75 Tanjong Pagar Rd, Singapore 088496

Opening Hours: 11.30am – 2am daily

4) Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ

Your day at Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ will not be ordinary day since they treat each of their customers like royalty. From what I know, this is the only Korean BBQ restaurant that provides premium pork skirt meat, which was previously reserved for Blue-blooded Royals.  “Galmaegisal” is the name given to the pork skirt meat. Furthermore, the beef offerings on their menu are delicious too with each cut of beef being marinated with rich spices and cooked to perfection, bursting with wonderful Korean flavours. The average price per pax is around $40 but you will not be disappointed by the quality.

Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ Outlets:

  • 50 Jurong Gateway Rd, #B1-10 Jem, Singapore 608549
  • 4 Tampines Central 5, B1-02 Tampines Mall, Singapore 529510
  • 23 Serangoon Central, #B1-73/74 NEX, Singapore 556083
  • 68 Orchard Rd, #02-01, Plaza, Singapore 238839

Opening Hours: 11.30am – 10pm daily

5) 8 Korean BBQ

I would say that 8 Korean BBQ catapulted to superstardom thanks to their unique 8 Colours Set ($98), which includes eight different flavours of pork belly that can feed 3-4pax. More importantly, all of the premium meat cuts cooked by their well-trained personnel have a special melt-in-your-tongue texture that will have you coming back for more. Do expect to pay about $35 per pax when you visit or check out their menu here!

8 Korean BBQ Outlets:

  • 6 Eu Tong Sen St, #02-79/90 The Central, Singapore 059817
  • 1 Scotts Rd, #04 – 20 / 21, Singapore 228208

Opening Hours: 11.30am – 2.30pm, 5.30pm – 11.30pm daily

Here are some great Korean BBQ spots to visit with family and friends. Although it might get a little smoky or your hair and clothes may reek of meat afterwards, you will definitely be back for more.
